  • My laminate came off the BOTTOM after a year.... shitty stuff ive never seen it happen before

  • thanks asshole for reading my question

  • im 5'7, 150 pounds and i have the 2009 version of this board at 158 cm. is this board too big?

  • @punaniswabber Yes youll want like a 151 - 153

  • i just got this board and it looks so sick

  • mostly rip downhill but still love to throw a 3 once in awhile...duece or blunt? which one?

  • will burton freestyle size L bindings and burton moto size 11,5 boots fit with 151cm burton blunt board?

  • @hammerfalldigger07 - I would recommend one of the wide versions.

  • hahaha hes all blunted at the endd

  • can you do a review on the burton process not v rocker the regular

  • yo its friday you aint got nothin to do, get yo self up on that hill and lets shred

  • and remember. c'mon its friday, you aint got anything to do, get yourself up on the hill and lets go shred

  • i have this board with the Burton custom bindings and honestly i love the set up. i can hit the park and tear it up but i can hit the slopes and just relax and cruse. it also handles powder pretty good

  • Will i still be able to carve really fast going down a hill or will i not be able to carve fast because the edges are lifted off the snow?

  • @hypersnaildotcom - The edges bite pretty well for a soft board, but it rides pretty loose when flat base.

  • whats the flex form 1 to 10?

  • @3aaawww - About a three

  • have you checked out the 2011 burton blunt yet

  • @dentheman1993 Bought it 2day!

  • what does the negetive profile core do?

  • i have a burton blunt....what kind of bindings should i get??

  • @zaccoish - Any binding will be good. I have been loving my 2011 Rome 390's

  • @zaccoish burton cartel

  • Im a 6'0 165 lb all mountain rider. i ride east coast so it all hard packed. should i buy the burton blunt or burton hero? They seem alike.

  • @voodooman56 - You may want to go with the Hero, it is a bit of an upgrade.

  • can this board still cope in powder

  • @Filmer987654321 - This board rides the powder quite well.

With the V-Rocker is floats in the powder regular and switch.

The board can be a bit soft when freeriding, but should treat a jibber fine that gets the chance to shred the fresh.

  • Ok so I got a quiver of boards and wondering does the Burton blunt 09 have pde and v-rocker also does the hero ltd differ in any way other than graphics from the regular hero?????

  • the old 2007 blunt has the coolest design....

  • i'm coming from an old ride kink 155, and i was wondering how much flex this board has compared to the kink, because i really loved that board for its flex

  • @Juzmy - It is as soft as the Kink.

  • its a bit to late, i went to the shop an bought the apo selekta(rocker), wich i now find to stiff compared to the kink

    but i'll live

  • @Juzmy - Sorry for the late reply. I was traveling all last week. Just got back to Tahoe from Stowe VT.

  • hey no problem,

i got a new board, its not like i should be crying :)

its for the snow we live (atleast i do)

  • It is fun all over the hill.

  • This is by far the best board out there for the money, with the v-rocker, cruise-control, and all the other great features, this board destroys on the mountain. It looks so much cooler in real life also

  • im getting this board for next year, it looks awesome. since its a freestyle board, would this improve my jumps and doing rails?

  • It would help you progress your freestyle for sure.

  • would you reccomend the blunt for beginners at the park?

  • Yes

  • @ishidamoo after getting this board this year, it has helped me in every aspect of riding... bunch of flex, floats in the pow, and has made me a better rider.

  • yo sierra

is the sieraa stunt like the burton/sierra version of the blunt

    i may be wrong

    but somebody told me that

  • The boards are very comparable.

Either are really fun flexi boards.

  • Am a beginner and don't know what to choose between the Burton Clash and Burton Blunt. I'm 5'6, with size 9 feet and weigh 157 pounds.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Blunt for more Freestyle rider.

Clash for more all mountain cruiser.

What type of rider do you want to become?

  • Definitely more of a mountain rider. However since I saw this review a friend of mine has told me about the Never Summer SL-R and the Lib Tech Skate Banana... any thoughts? Thanks

  • I would say for all mountain riding the Burton Custom V, SLR, or the Sierra Reverse Crew would be better options.

  • Thanks for your help much appreciated.

  • For sure, anytime.

  • oh one last thing if that's cool. I noticed on a lot of reviews that the Custom V is supposed to be technically for intermediate riders whereas I'm a beginner. Do you think it'll be a problem? I mean I'm already leaning towards the SLR anyway but I've got a feeling it's going to be hard to find it here in the UK hence why I'm asking about the custom V. Thanks again and this is the last question promise :-))

  • No worries, the SLR will be tougher as a beginner rider than the Custom V.

I would say go with the V-Rocker.

  • Cool. Done. Thanks.

  • Against all of your previous advice I think I'm going to go with the clash. I just think in the long term it might be better for me to learn on a camber board. Thanks for the advice though. :--)))

  • It is all good.

The important thing is that you are getting a snowboard.

Make sure to leave a comment on the Clash Video to let us know how it is going.

  • @sierrasnowboard will do. Thanks again.

This year will be too soon to get out to the states but maybe next year I'll try to get to one of Sierrapaloozas. Take it easy. :--))

  • I currently have Burton 09 freestyle bindings and I was wondering if Burton has any other good bindings for freestyle riders.

  • The Triad and the Malavita'a are my favs.

The Cartels and the missions are also great choices.

  • What kind of binding does this use? Does it use the Stander Burton 3 hole?

  • Three Hole pattern which will work with all bindings but EST.

  • im buying my first board. im not a beginner, im an intermediat rider. I usually rent because i dont know what to buy. Is this a good board for me. My specs: im 5'11'' and weigh 170lbs. I have size 13 feet and am a freestyle/freeride person. if this isnt good then what's another good board for me. Also can you suggest some good bindings and boots? i prefer BOA boots because they are easier to lace up. Are there any drawbacks to BOA boots? PLEASE REPLY, THANK YOU!

  • This is a good choice, go with the 165wide.

if you want BOA boots make sure to get dual zone BOA. Not a big fan of single zone boots, especially single zone BOA, but the Dual Zone BOAs rock. Go with the Flow Rift, Vans Aura or DC Judge.

For Bindings get a pair of Burton Cartels or Missions.

  • If I had to choose between this, and the Burton Custom 2010, which should I get? I'm an intermediate park rider. Thanks.

  • I would go with the Burton Custom V or the Sierra Reverse Crew.

  • Thanks!

  • looking for a good introductary park board,

    i am 5 feet 6 and i weigh 95 lbs

im looking for something that will hold up on medium jumps but something i can jib with

is this a good board for me, and if not what are some ideal choices?

    Thanks

  • This or the Sierra Stunt would be great boards for you.

I think the 147 would fit you nicely.

  • i am looking for a first board. i have been riding park and that is what i am focusing on. should i get this board or the ride agenda

  • I would say this board.

  • what size should i get. im about 110 pounds and 5' 5'

  • The 147will be ideal.

Also check out the Sierra Stunt.

  • im 6' and weight 170, what length do you suggest and what bindings. My budget is around 600 bucks

  • This board or the Sierra Stunt in a 155 or 158

    Sierra Contacts or the Cartels.

You will come in under budget.

  • Im thinking about getting this 155 with tribute boots and freestyle bindings. Im 6' and 170 pounds, is this a good choice

  • What do you suggest?? I was thinking about getting this board with the mission bindings since I am a beginner rider. I wear 10.5 boots and arent sure If I should get the 156 wide or 155 normal. I'm 6 foot 2 inches and only weigh 145 pounds so im quite the bean pole. What do you think? A bit worried about overhang

  • This board is a midwide so you will not have trouble with the no wide version. The mission is a good choice for this board.

Check out the boots with shrinkage to reduce your foot print size as well.

  • well im 135pounds, i got the burton blunt 155, its perfect!

  • @ffs94 - I am 175 lbs and I also ride the 155

  • ok, and it still rides good?

  • It rides great, that is my ideal size for my body type and riding style. I would say that you could even go a bit shorter.

But being that you are loving it than that is all that matters.

  • yeah, but im still growing, im only 15, soo yea :D

  • lol some burton.. totally over hyped brand..

  • i got a burton blunt, but its from 07'

i got it for $130, and it came with burton mission bindings =]

  • they have 151 wide... i have one

  • Strange, I thought the smallest wide was the 153wide.

  • ya i was at the shop and i was like 151 wide? awesome!

  • Cool

  • I'm 5'11 and 130 lbs should i get 151 or 155

  • What size are your feet.

I would guess that you want to go with the 153 wide.

  • My feet are size 9 i was wondering if going with 151 would be alright i'm only 5'10.

  • How much do you weight?

You may want the 155 if you are over 150lbs.

  • i am 5.8 ft and 170lbs and i bought a 159W after using the chart from the burton website. Is it too big? Enough to change the board with a smaller?

  • im 5-11 160

I use a 156 2008 burton blunt i mean i cant b 2 big on u thoe if u followed the chart but i would prob sell it and get a smaller 1

  • i just grabbed myself one... i cant wait untill jan 9 to try it out

  • your gunna love it...i have one

  • tried this out yesterday and it was awesome... but my 2 year old bindings are missing a strap and imma out cash! but god damn this board is sweet

  • Okay thank you very much, do you think this is good? Or is the skate banana better??

  • obviously skate banana but the banana is expensive!

  • haha i still dont know which one :P can you say crunchy : and than tell me what size :P?

  • I am replying directly to your comments, crunchy-159wide.

  • heyyy im 6'1 185.

i just got my blunt for christmas.

i got the 158. ive been riding 158s since i broke 6ft so im not asking about that. but im just wondering but whats the dif between wide and regular?

  • The wides are the same just 5mm wider.

You may want the 159w or 156w dependent on your boot size and riding preferences.

I would most likely put you on the 156w.

  • how does this board ollie and how is it in the powder?

  • The V-Rocker is great in the powder and super easy to ollie.

  • so a 156 wide would be good for me ?

  • You would want the 159 wide.

  • im 6 foot 3 and 160lbs. Can you give me an opinion on what board size? thanks

  • Go with a 156 wide Burton Blunt.

  • so im 6 foot 210 pounds and take a size 10.5/11 size boots?

  • 159 wide

  • 5'8 158 lbs.?

  • Possibly the 155, what size shoe?

  • for 11 and above you need at least a 250 waist width

  • Im about 5' 7" what size should i get? I weight 172 lbs. Let me know.

  • I would go with probably the 156 W, depending on your foot size you may or may not want the wide stance. I'd say 13 and a half or above is when you'd want to go wide. Hope this helps. :)

  • I would say if you have an 11 or larger boot you will want to start looking to a wide or mid wide board.

  • Really because I have a 2009 burton twin and I use a burton boot size 12 and it works just fine and the toes don't hang off.

  • The twin is a mid wide board.

  • how does this compare to the 2010 Skate Banana? Is the $150 price difference worth it for the Skate Banana? by the way, your reviews are awesome!

  • Thanks, I would say go with the Blunt over the Banana.

  • i got this board a few weeks ago and love it its a great park board

  • this board is freakin awsome love it by far the best board i have ever rode

  • why do u have to get a smaller size than normally cause i want to get this board . im am about 200lbs. and 6'0 and a size 11 -12 boot. right now im riding a 157 what size blunt board should i get. and yes i am somewhat u to snowboarding.

  • Go with the 156 wide.

It is sized down because it has a long effective edge and a blunt nose and tail.

  • k thanks

  • They have this board at Lockerz a easy point website. To get into Lockerz just PM me.

  • fork i bought mine 155 and i normally ride 151 i sized up instead of down will this matter much

  • itll be faster but harder to control

  • I would try to trade it out for the 151 or the 147.

  • guys, im gonna be a proud owner of this board in 2 weeks!!

unluckily, i quit pot few years ago, does that matter?! ;)

  • It does not matter, I am not a pot smoker, but I play one on YouTube.

    ;-) Doug

  • owner within 48 hours:)

    cant wait!!!!!

  • I like this board

  • What size of board should i get???

    im 5 foot 7

    weigh 138

  • emmm get sized out but i would put you around 150

  • Sized out ?? and thanks for replying

  • what would be a good sized board for someone about 6 foot and lol the end was awesome

  • How much does this person weight?

  • 136 lbs.

  • hi i know a lot of people ask you these questions but I weight 140 and I am 5'8. What size in THIS BOARD (Burton Blunt) should I get. Im just starting out snowboarding and am looking to do freestyle which is grinding and boxes and jumps with my friends. thanks!

  • Thanks is that for all boards yoou need to downsize on if your doing freestyle?

  • Yes, it is a rule of thumb that if you are not going to ride pow and sticking to park and the groomers you can lean to the smaller size in your size range.

  • should i get a burton blunt or burton seven

  • if i plan on buying this board what size would i need if i weigh 160 and 6'1?

  • If you are using the board for mostly freestyle, the 155 would be a good size for you to ride.

Dependent on your foot size you may want the 156 wide. Go with the wide if your foot is 10.5 or bigger.

  • Comment removed

  • i plan on buying this board soon and im 5 foot 5 inches and weight 140 pounds, im a beginner park rider but i want to ride park this year, what size including the downsize should i buy?

  • You could go as small as the 147. The 151 would also be fine and would give you a bit more float on those days with fresh snow.

  • tytytyty

  • why to downsize?

  • You want to size down because the board has a long effective edge relative to its length and a short (blunt) tip and tail.

This makes the board ride like it is a longer board, allowing it to be sized down from a rider's normal riding length.

This blunt nose and tail give it a low swing weight and better clearance when spinning up to and off boxes and rails.

  • so i should downsize only for park boards with blunt tip and tail or any kind of rocker?

  • It is really dependent on the boards tip and tail design and its intended use.

Any board with a short tip and tail and long effective edge can be sized down.

If the board is being used for more groomers and jib style riding, especially jib specific boards can be sized down.

Does not really have to do with the Rocker.

  • all right so i no that you dont wanna rock park boots when ur riding all mountain cuz they'll get destroyed. but do park boards not work with all mountain riding? i like the park, but i also love shreddin the diamonds. ive been told park boards dont make too big a difference, and i really wanna get this board cuz it fits me perfect with a 159 Wide... any help or suggestions? def appreciate it

  • Riding a park board for all mountain can be great, switch riding in all terrain. The park boots in the All Mountain setting can be fun as well, they can be a bit soft for high speed riding, but allow for more range of motion.

You can also make a balance with a softer binding and stiffer boot or a softer boot and a stiffer binding.

The 2010 Blunt is a great board.

  • alright sweet. thanks a lot, that was helpful. cant wait to get this board it looks totally awesome :D

  • cant wait to get mine next week it looks pretty sick

  • I had a question. I heard that the social and the blunt the same board specs share. but is that true, and reacts the social the same as the blunt?

i hope somebody can help me out

    ;)

  • anyone know how this board will handle in the pow?

  • just got this board cant wait to try it out

  • 1st! Got a DH. Never tried this one...
