This is the only record of Burnt Fart's that no QB wants to break.
Heck, I want to see all of his records broken, except this one.
He was a careless son of a bitch who was just out there to have fun and didn't give a damn for the team and if they won or lost. He was just in it for himself.
@gflaten44 508 career TD's, 336 INTS = 1.5 to 1 touchdown to Int ratio... this is terrible, A good QB should be atleast 3 to 1. the only thing great about favre his how long he played.
2 int's vs the Rams in the 2001 playoffs, 2 int's vs the Falcons in the 2002 playoffs, a game costing int vs the Eagles in the 2003 playoffs, 4 int's vs the Vikings in the 2004 playoffs, a game costing int vs the Giants in the 2007 playoffs and a game costing int vs the Saints in the 2009 playoffs. Notice a trend here.
@Craigster45 First off it was only the second season they've met so don't act like it's Brady vs Manning. Second Favre played on better TEAM in 09 then Aaron Rogers did. So yeah you expect them to beat his TEAM. I mean they did play in the NFC title game. And third Rogers played on a better TEAM then Favre did last year so again you would expect them to beat his TEAM. I mean they did win the Superbowl. By the way I don't think losing two games to 39-40 year old man is gonna taint Rogers career.
@landinmycourt first off, i wasnt talking about win loss. second off vikings were not better then the packers team wise. they have absolutely no defence. you cant name one player that stands out. 09-10 vikings were good cuz of favre harvin and rice. why were harvin and rice stand out? because of favre, favre took a team that noone even knew about and put them in 1st rank. when rodgers went to the superbowl on a 6 team. i was talking about statistics, favre beat him on statistics every year.
@landinmycourt yards td's td/int everything for passing statistics besides this one. and the only reason why rodgers got so much statistics this year was because of jennings yards after catch, i mean gosh damn. i dont even know why your trying ot argue with me about this.
@Craigster45 Yeah I don't know why I'm arguing with you about this cause you just keep jumping all over the place when I comeback at you. You went from the Packers being lucky to win the SB, to Aaron Rogers losing to a 39-40 year old, to now Favre being the leader in TD,s, INT's and passing. As far as Rogers the reason his statistics were so good was because he threw 28 TD's and only 11 INT's with a bad running game, as opposed to Favre who threw 11 TD's and 19 INT's with a good running game.
@landinmycourt because your so stupid its sad. obviousely if you look at any other year with favre vs rodgers favre won. and he wasnt even in his prime. the reason this year was horrible was 1. favre had tendenitious in his elbows. 3 broken bones and a fracture, 2 concussions. AND HE STILL PLAYED THROUGH ALL OF THAT. Brett went through broken fingers at GB. hes a legend ur ego's just to high to understand it. 2. harvin and rice were out of the picture half the time.
@Craigster45 Ok kids, calm down now...And by the way, in regards to both of your arguments...NO ONE CARES. Everyone has their own opinion, so just let them think whatever. And just to reiterate, I'll give you the mathematical equation: 2(number of people who care) = 0.
@Craigster45 I'm stupid? They've only play against each other last year and the year before. They're both 2-2 against each so I don't know what other years your talkin about. So all those injuries were the reason he threw so many picks last year huh? So how bout the league leading 24 INT's in '93, the league leading 29 INT's in '05 and the league leading 22 INT's in '08. The 6 INT playoff game vs the Rams. The 4 INT playoff game vs Vikings. And the game losing INT's vs Eagles, Giants and Saints.
@landinmycourt r u fucking retarded? there 3-1 NFL apologized to the vikings for the loss. but there was nothing they could officially do. they cant re-do w/l or else the jets and patriots game when the patriots cheated woulda been changed. r u fucking dumb again? 05 was the only year he lead the league in int's and guess who had a broken finger? i'm only guessing you didnt watch the game nor are you a packer fan. because anyone with a brain would know that 5 of those 6 went right through
@Craigster45 Am I retarded? Where in the NFL record book does it say that the Vikings beat the Packers last year in Greenbay. So the league apologized to the Vikings...kinda they liked they apologized to other teams who fell victim to bad officiating. And why do they apologize, cause they can't reverse a win or lose meaning that regaurdless of a bad call the final score of the game stands meaning that the Packers were 2-0 against Vikings last season. If you can't deal with that FACT then go away
@landinmycourt the reciever's hands. dont believe me? watch a highlight of it on youtube. dumb shit. in statistic wise it goes down as 6 int's by him. but everyone knows what happend (whos a packer fan anyways.) gosh damn its like u were born yestarday or something GB got a free year this year. lets be honest. if anyone was in there position who can beat the falcons (9 other teams) would have a free ride to the superbowl. dumb shit.
@Craigster45 LOL!!! I can not believe you are taking this topic so serious. Go back and read all your comments on here. Do you seriously know how stupid you sound. My god dude, get some help. It's just a sport!!!
@landinmycourt its a sport that is many peoples lives, its a sport people will always feel for, its a sport where the most passion is showed, its a sport that not only judges your athleticism, but judges your character, its a sport that defines most people in this world. its obviouse you dont feel the same way alot of other people do. and if u cant understand people who have the most passion for this sport, then maybe you need some help.
@Craigster45 Yeah...and what does that have to do with Favre league leading 24 INT's in '93, the league leading 29 INT's in '05 and the league leading 22 INT's in '08. The six seasons of throwing 21 INT's or more. The 6 INT playoff game vs the Rams. The 2 TD and 9 INT performance during his last 5 games with the Jets. The 4 INT playoff game vs Vikings. And the game costing INT's vs Eagles, Giants and Saints. The 4-7 playoff record in the playoffs since his last Superbowl appearance.
@landinmycourt holy shit your a dumb fuck, he lead the league in int's one year u dumb shit. how many years has he lead the league in passing yards and td's? exactly suck my dick again bitch, idk why u keep trying to come back, u obviousely know nothing about football if you say brett favre sucks, gosh damn your stupid.
@Mozicon I swear, getting into a debate with Craigster45 about Bret Favre is like shooting fish in a barrell. Everytime I bring up FACTS about him that are negitive (leading the league in INT's 3 times) all he does is deny, make excuses, curse or say he's a 3 time MVP/ 1 time SB winner/ lead the league in passing this year/ lead the league in TD's that year/ it wasn't his fault, he was injured/ his recievers let him down etc etc etc.
@Craigster45 LOL!!! I can not believe you are letting someone on youtube you have never met before get under your skin cause that person is hitting you with FACTS about a QB who could give two shits about you. The FACT is he did lead the league in INT's three times. He threw 24 in '93, 29 in '05 and 22 in '08. Now if you have proof that he did not lead the league in INT's those years then PROVE IT!!! If not DEAL WITH IT!!!
@landinmycourt hey bitch, how many years did he lead the league in td's and passing yards? ooh yeah bitch thats why hes got about 2x more td's then int's.. gosh damn your stupid. DEAL WITH IT CUNT sorry i hate to break this shit down to you. its so sad. hahahahaha.
@Craigster45 LOL!!! Everytime I hit you with FACTS all you do is deny, make excuses, talk about how many TD's he's throw, how many passing yards he has, how many MVP's etc etc. I know he's a 3 time MVP who's lead the league in TD's 4 times and lead in passing 2. But I also know he's lead the league in INT's 3 times, thrown 21 or more INT's in a season 6 times and has a 4-7 playoff record since his last Superbowl appearance in '98. Now if you can dispute that then do it. If not then go away.
@landinmycourt 4+2 = 6 hmmmmm.. so 6 + 3 mvps, + 1 superbowl ring. so i'll just make that number 10 years with amazing statistics better then any other qb's in the league at the time and 3 years where he lead the league in int's.. dude, you gotta accept the facts. he has way more amazing years then a few bad years. get over yourself. your just in denial. if you cant deny these facts, then get a life. your just nieve. the amazing statistics grounds out the negative ones you dumb shit. lmfao!!
@Craigster45 So where in any of my comments did I deny that he was a 3 time MVP and a 1 time Superbowl winner? Better yet where in any of my comments did I say anything that was untrue about him? Exactly!!! Once again you are getting all bent out of shape cause I'm hitting you with FACTS about your hero that you can't dispute. You tried to deny that he lead the league in INT's and when I told you to prove me wrong you drew blanks. So next time you want to debate someone, bring some amo aka FACTS
@landinmycourt first of all dumb shit, your angry because im hitting you with cold hard FACTS the point is the positives outweigh the negatives by a ton. and leading the league in interceptions ONLY 3 YEARS out of 20 YEARS. your pathetic if thats all you got on him. i've hitten you with so many facts its unreal, and once again, your a little bitch about it. and leading the league in int's isnt a huge deal. what if no qb threw an int but 1 did? hed lead the league that year, dumb shit.
@landinmycourt your just pathetic. what are you trying to argue about with me? that rodgers is better? obviousely not. that he sucks? more then fuckin obviousely not considering the only thing you have on him is 3 years he lead the league in int's and a playoff game where recievers cant catch the ball. how sad. kid, read a book or something. learn you packer history. theres a reason why him and montana are the best to ever league, your pushin a brick wall. your trash kid.
@landinmycourt lmfao, r u dumb?? ooh yeah stupid question. like i said before the only thing you have against favre is 3 years he lead the league in int's and playoff games where his recievers cant catch the ball, your trash. why dont u get more facts then me then spouting off your mouth on something you dont know? OOOOOOHHH YEAHHH!! its because you cant. you brought out all you had, and unfortunately it wasnt even close to enough. sad to see some kid like you firing blanks. i hate lil' bitches.
@landinmycourt i mean, i feel bad for you. you show your lack of knowledge of football so much, i feel like i should stop talking. you bring in your sad facts and there still not good enough, your facts are like throwing pebbles at someone. thats how small they are. dont u get it? theres a reason why hes got almost 2x more td's then int's u go by statistics (which he has almost every great qb statistic ever in the game) and you still blind yourself. i should give u a cookie or something..
@Craigster45 I feel bad for you. You sound like you need a laugh.
Anthony Weiner was widely expected to run for mayor of New York, but he may have to settle for quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings.
When God was handing out athleticism he blessed Brett Favre, but when it came to his private parts, God did not Pick 6.
Deanna Favre released a press statement recently... "Those pictures Brett sent to that reporter were meant for me... but you know Brett... they were intercepted."
@landinmycourt ahhh dumb ass kid. sad, i have you beat in every COLD HARD FACT that you hafto resort to jokes.. u wonderin why he has about 2x more td's then int's why he lead the league only 3 times in int's when he lead the league in yards and td's for 7+ years. why hes a 3 time mvp and a SB champion. yes kid SB stands for Super Bowl, i wouldnt expect you to know that. warms me to know i destroyed some 12 year old kid in a debate on something he doesnt even know about i feel really bad for u.
@Craigster45 Damn your still angry lemme try again.
Hall of Famer Joe Montana’s son, Nick, after years of watching his dad, will play quarterback at the University of Washington. In a similar story, Brett Favre’s son is quitting school and then re-enrolling, then quitting again, then going back for a year, then taking a break, then flirting with going back, then back to quitting but still studying a little, and then it’s just a guessing game.
@landinmycourt im not angry im in laughter at how stupid you are.. do you realize how dumb you sound? lmfao!!! what were u even trying to argue with me about? that favre sucks? or that rodgers is better? your obviousely wrong on both and your a bigger fool then you already are now if you actually think one of those is correct.
@Craigster45 In a recent interview, Brett Favre said that "I really do feel like I have nothing left to prove." Of course, he forgot to mention that he still hasn't proven that he can stay retired.
@Craigster45 The packers Defense didn't throw the Interceptions. Favre was the only one playing hurt? you dont think other QB's play hurt? that doesn't even get reported by the media, like ben rothelisberger said that he always has nagging injuries that media doesn't know. You get your facts straight.
You're just a Brett Favre lover #4757632792
Your lips are so close to Favre's butt you cant see how he becomes MVP of the opposing team with his ill-adviced Season Ending passes in crunch time.
@gfscarface13 you fucking dumb shit. you said he was the biggest choke artist ever when in over half the games in 98 to 08 it was the defence's fault. your obviousely not a packer fan and you dont keep up with favre. and also dumb shit theres a reason why he has the most consecutive games in NFL history because hes the toughest QB to play the game. playing with broken throwing fingers, torn shoulders, broken ankles and jaw.. get your facts right b4 u talk to me again kid. dumbshit
@gfscarface13 YOU FUCKING DUMB SHIT HIS DEFENCE FAILS IN THE PLAYOFFS!
gosh your so fucking stupid. its like your 3 years old or something, or you just dont know the game of football. is sad talking to you really. i just feel bad picking on you. so brett favre threw an int vs the giants for the championship, correct. did ryan grant fumble 4 times? same with vikings. did ap fumble 3 times, sidney rice once and harvin once again.. dont you fucking get it.. your stupid as hell.
@gfscarface13 LMFAO!!!! "moronic idiot" HAHAHAHA! do you lick your dads ballsack before you go to sleep or something? because that was the most pathetic thing i've ever heard..
@gfscarface13 are you fucking dumb, you dont need to always be in a clutch situation to be a great quarterback, if you blow the other team away your not gonna be in a clutch situation. in 07 and 09 he shouldnt of even been in those situations cuz his RB shouldnt have turned it over 4 times and in 09 his rb shouldnt of 3 times and recievers twice more.. so basically your whole statement means nothing. you dont need to make clutch plays. some quarterbacks never
@Craigster45 If you continue to act childlish than this debate is useless, Im trying to get to the point of this.
Brett Favre was in the Crucial moments in the playoffs where he had to deliver but Failed.
Favre lost 2, not 1 but TWO Overtime playoff games w/ Interceptions vs philly in 04 & vs NY in 08, threw INT in OT & opposing team kicked field goal & Won the playoffs games. He had his Chances.
Last drive of S.B. XXXII had his chance to Tie the S.B. but Failed w/ way off throw to Freeman &.
just you thinking that he failed the packers in superbowl XXXII is the most pathetic thing i've ever heard.. you cant expect a QB to perform miracles every time.. and if he doesnt, you cant diss him for it because nobodys a miracle performer.. im sorry dude, that was pretty damn sad.. so your saying it was tom brady's fault at the end because he didnt throw a 90 yard td pass? lmfao!!
@Craigster45 Dont put words in my mouth. I never said I expect miracles "every time"
Go watch S.B. XXXII & come back to me. But this was the SuperBowl, for the World Title.
12 Points Favs vs denver which no one in He** gave denver a chance to win.
Game tied at 7 late in 1st quarter. Favre Interception, denver scores w/ Elways Rushing TD, 5 Minutes later, Favre fumbles, denver kicks field goal, packers in 7-17 Hole in 2nd quarter. Favre overthrew freeman in 4th quarter. FAILED. Watch the game.
@gfscarface13 you obviousely have not watched the game. the last pass of the game was clearly in the recievers hands, what did the reciever do with it, dropped. maybe you need to watch the game over again.. the last pass was not to freeman, it didnt need to go to freeman, it was a perfect pass to a reciever that should have caught it. but he didnt. which would have kep the drive going.
@Craigster45 I saw the game last week, I rented the game from Netflix, been watching classic NFL Games to get my mind of the lockout.
Go and watch the final 7 minutes of S.B. XXXII and see how nervous and jittery Favre was, overthrowing Freeman and the other receivers, watch it, and what happend, the packers punted and lost possesion, denver scores, favre couldn't tie the game at the end.
denver wins 31-24 with Favre being Co-MVP with Terrell Davis. Favre's 2 T.O. gave denver 10 Points. A Fact
@gfscarface13 Wow what a surprise. Craigster45 is once again getting his panties in a bunch about Bret Favre.
This guy just can not stand it when people bring up shortcomings in his career that are proven facts. Like the fact that he lead the league in INT's 3 times. Like the fact that he has a 4-7 record in the playoffs since his last SB appearence.
@gfscarface13 are in a clutch situation.. now answer me this true or false if you will. Brett favre has over 46 quarterback records and 49 including 2nd place. answer me that if you will dumb shit? 49 records in NFL history. 2 of them being negative. how fucking much am i handing it to you right now??
@Craigster45 That's your response to his lack luster playoff performances over the past 12 years? Yes I know he's led the league in TD's 4 times, passing twice and that he won 3 MVP's matching the number of times he's lead the NFL in INT's. But what does that have to do with his 4-7 playoff record since his last Superbowl appearence? What does that have to do with him throwing 21 INT's or more in a season 6 times? Yes I know he was great but FACTS are FACTS. If you don't like it then go away.
Its just such a classic Favre pick! you can tell he is going to do something stupid when the broadcaster says right away..."Favre Under Center, He's Gonna Burn some Clock Now!" haha
@addzack11 The point is that no one has thrown as many picks. Ever. In the whole history of the NFL. The person in second place played for 25 years, and threw, at this point, 60 fewer interceptions (as Mr. Favre is now up to 335).
I love brett but to add insult to injury.. he also is 3 fumbles away from breaking the most career fumbles record. He has 159, the record by warren moon is 161
i was pissed that bret left the jets cause im a die heart jet fan but him leaving was also good cause now we got a decent QB and now in the 2010-2011 season we are gonna have a great team. Im hoping 2 see the Jets in the Superbowl this year!
Favre doesn't suck, but he does have a tendency to choke (see end of NFC Championships 2009 and 2007) at just the wrong moment, and can get very streaky (see second half of 2008 season) in his old age.
ya lets all hate on brett he sucks ya 300 ints what a loser peice of shit go drew brees ya cool guys alright ya lets all be friends!!!! hey good thing u guys hav the time to find every single thing he has done wrong in the playoffs and post on a youtube comment good job guys nice work finden all that info.
Favre was 1 TD pass from tying the playoff TD record. The record is 45, and he has 44. Think he'll be back in the playoffs for another crack at the record?
Vikings-Bears, Dec. 28, 2009. Brett Favre, 26/40 321yds 2tds no int. 16 degrees and windy. Besides, Id rather have a QB that struggles in cold weather at times then one who chokes in every big or close game he plays in.
once brett cost you guys in the playoffs with a int your gonna run him out of town, its funny how vike fans hated favre for 17 years but once hes comes to your team your all on his nutz
@SSJasonX Who is "you guys" ? I'm not a Vikings fan. I'm a die hard Packer hater. I'm a fan of another nfc north team( Here's a hint, they always suck), and I live near Green Bay. So obviously, I really get sick of the Packers and I really, really hate the fuck out of them.
its even funnier how you packer fans loved him for 17 years now you hate him. IT GOES BOTH WAYS Favre has showed no signs of breaking down this year. Why do you want him to fail so badly? Did he take your GF in Highschool? I mean seriously how old are you. Sad how you guys just hope he throws a INT even though he has only thrown 7 all year. Is his success making you jelous because he had his best statistical year as a viking?
i still like favre i just don't like that purple jersey hes wearing but once he finally does retire he will be in the packer hall of fame and inducted in to canton as a packer
just like he was going to do it on monday night when he faced the packers, or when he went to GB he was going to do it there right? Or in december he was going to break down? oh wait he had 7tds and 4 ints..thats right. I guess if you keep hoping for something itll eventually happen but for now..keep wishing lol
Who! who! How bout Rogers!!! Ha Ha Ha eat it!! Big time QBs make big time plays in big time games!!! Rogers vs Favre, 0-2!!! Rogers in playoffs, 0-1, whith a game losing turnover in OT!!! Not to mention missing Jennings who was wide open! Ha Ha Ha !!!
Oh , the face mask. You mean the one that happened after the ball had changed hands, so it would have given the Cards the ball on about the 15? The one that didn't turn his head around so it could easily have been judged incidental? Or are you refering to the blow to the head that Warner took on his TD throw to Fitz that wasn't called? Ya just got out played, and the golden boy choked in overtime. Get used to it, hes young. Hell be choking the Pack out of big games for years to come!!
Well, no. The ball has to be in the air for it to be pass interference. He didnt grab or lower his shoulder into Woodson, he just ran him down untill Woodson fell over. Their must be some call there, but I'm not sure what it is. I'd like to know, though. Almost seems like Larry found a loophole in the rules.
number 1, rodgers didnt choke, he was the only reason why green bay was still in the game, if favre would have been in a game being down by 21, and on top of that had his first play from scrimmage end in a pick, there is no doubt in my mind he would have thrown many more picks. On top of that, rodgers had absolutely NO HELP from the defense, and granted, he did over throw 2 or 3 td passes to jennings, regardless, if rodgers hadnt been there, that game woulda been a BLOWOUT!!!
lol how quick you forget, favre led the packers back from 14-0 after ryan grant fumbled twice in a row against the seahawks in 07, Favre can take his team back. Rodgers didnt choke?? His first pass was a INT of his playoff career! He has the sideline in front of him and he threw it! IN OT he missed a wide open Jennings, THAT IS A CHOKE! THAT WOULD HAVE WON THE GAME,ALSO EVEN IF HE DIDNT GET FACEMASKED, THE PACKERS STILL LOSE BECAUSE HE FUMBLED BEFORE THE FACEMASK! RODGERS CHOKED WHEN IT MATTERED
@packersinhd hmm how quick are you to forget that grant after fumbling 2 times in a row, set a record for the most yards for a running back in a playoff game, he had over 200 yards and a couple tds, so it wasnt all favre. and also this was rodgers FIRST PLAYOFF GAME!! how many playoff games has favre played in and how many interceptions has he thrown. the vikings were in field goal position and he throws the pick that cost the vikings the game! so favre doesnt choke, ok just keep believing that
@tfast210 Favre doesn't choke, he just makes dumbass throws because he gets anxious and doesn't trust his D which has let him down in the eagles 2004 game, 2007 giants game( ask plaxico burres how he treated al harris), 2010 vikings was a ALL AROUND CHOKE -A-THON. The only times Favre seriously choked was the rams 6 int game, and I guess the vikes playoff game but moss owned the packers d that game too, it goes both ways not just one , just because you hate favre, dont be a tool!
@sh0rtymac85 umm ok so favre doesnt choke and its all the defense's fault, what about super bowl 32 when favre almost threw a pick to end the game that was a loss anyways, that must have been the defense's fault too considering it was the top defense for a number of years, oh and was it also mentioned that the in the last 3 years, favre's last pass of the year has been a pick, coinsidence of him choking, you can blame the defense all you want but the defense doesnt throw the bad passes
@tfast210 Favre threw three TDs in that game. But you are right, I guess. It's always on Favre. When you're that good, people hold you to a different standard. If they lose, it's always his fault. Brilliant.
@langbry Im not saying that it was entirely favre's fault that they lost superbowl 32, alot of it was holmgren b/c he had his mind on moving to seattle. But regardless, favre is a gunslinger and he takes chances, he will make a few spectacular plays from the agresivenes but he has lost more games than he has won for being so agressive and wanting to make the big play all of the time which is why he chokes, its because he tries to do everything himself and make the big play when theres no need to
@sh0rtymac85 Exactly. How is it a choke when he's the sole reason they're even in the game in the first place? The rest of the team chokes and they turn to Favre say, "Go win the game for us." If he comes up short, to blame it all on him is not fair.
@langbry that is just how packer fans are though, they want it both ways, because they are butt hurt he is a viking now. It is just stupid The one game I can say where favre was the sole reason the team lost is the playoff game against the rams where he threw 6 ints, that game you can say" ok favre choked big time" The eagles game 4th and 26, the giants game , Al Harris getting owned by burress, Grant rushing for 28 yards!!!!??? really??? 2010, 2 fumbles in the red zone? 12 men on the field???
@sh0rtymac85 Brett Favre Choked vs NY at Home. What does Al Harris getting Owned by Burres have to do with the Epic Interception in OT? Burres can get Owned a Thousand yards & its still not him.
Nothing dude, stop making Excuses for Brett Favre.
Same thing w/ OT at Philly in 04, I know defense blew it, but who can you blame for that Horrible high punt pass to the eagles? Brett, Bad pass.
No Excuses. You dont hear Cowboys & eagles fans make Excuses for their QB's Romo & McNabb, do you, NOPE.
@sh0rtymac85 And Sherman must not have trusted the O because the Packers could have tried for a first down and not even given the ball the Eagles to get the 4th and 26. To blame the D, the ONLY reason they made to Phillie was a pick six in overtime remember, is wrong. Was it the best D ever? No. But all season it kept the other teams to about their average. It was the O that lost to AZ and DET in 2003 that nearly kept the Packers out of the playoffs altogether.
@sh0rtymac85 AND the Packers had the second best point differential in the league in 2003, BEST in the NFC. This hardly happens when "you can't trust your D". It's not like he was Lynn Dickey in 1983 that scored 429 and the D gave up 439. Lastly, in the salary cap/free agent era, most teams chose one side of the ball or the other to be dominant and the other side wasn't supposed to screw up. It was up to the O to win that Phillie game, not the D. If we had been the 2000 Ravens, then yeah...
@packersinhd this makes it seem as if youre more of a favre fan than a packers fan. that is aaron rodgers team now. plus, how many playoff games has favre won after winning the superbowl? i mean, i wouldnt have called favre clutch after the playoff game against the giants.
@fucker661 one thing I do not understand about packer fans, Favre fans put the SB ring in his resume, but then pack fans say "SB wins are a team effort not individual" Then someone like yourself says "how many playoffs games has favre won since winning the SB?" It is a double standard and not fair, I agree, THE PACKERS WON THE SB NOT JUST FAVRE THAT YEAR, but really, the playoff losses can't be all blamed on favre, I mean 4th and 26?!! I mean reallly?? D stops them, no need for OT against eagles
@packersinhd by the way, i never said i hated favre, he is one of my favorite athletes, what i dont like about him is his offseason desicions for the last 5 years of not going to training camp and waffling around deciding whether or not to retire, does favre throw picks, yes, he is a gunslinger and a risk taker which has lost more games than it has won, but i enjoyed watching favre playing in his prime, you just never knew what he was going to do next, he kept the game interesting
um ok, how about favre chocking constantly in the playoffs in the past 10 years, aside from this year, ever since the 98 super bowl season, favre has won what 2 games in the playoffs, and the loss they had against the Giants was none other than favre choking in another big game in his life. The only reason favre is doing better this year is for the simple fact that he is living life in a dome, he cant handle the cold weather any more and chokes anytime he does play in cold weather now!!
Hey, I hear if the Vikings win the superbowl they are gonna put Ted Thompsons name up on there ring of fame. Is it especially warm in November? Because it looked like Brett played just fine when he dick-slapped Packer nation on Nov.1, 2009. Boy, that game was hillarious. Hey, what was your prediction before that game?
hahahaha, i didnt know that 60 degrees in november was cold, favre can't play in the cold, the nfc championship game proved that 100%, and if you say "oh he won the week before" well the only reason why he won the week before is because ryan grant rushed for over 200 yards and a couple touchdowns!
It seems as if choking in the playoffs has become a Packer thing, not so much a Favre thing, doesnt it? Go ahead. Trash Favre all you want, but its a losing battle, because nothing you can say can change the fact that Bretts teams have gone 21-11, while Green Bay has gone 17-15 since Favre left, while also beating the Packers twice, and going further in the playoffs. Twist it however you want, but the fact is that Ted got schooled, and Brett is a great player who you dont have anymore, suck it.
no you can keep brett man, i am glad he is gone, i was and still am a diehard favre fan, but you just wait when the vikings lose this sunday, when you have to deal with all the favre melodramatic "am i gunna retire, or am i not" crap. Then training camp will come to an end and a week before preseason starts he will be like "i want my starting spot back, give it to me or else i will have a hissy fit"
and no, ted did not get schooled, please tell me, in what job out there can you retire for 3 months, and then out of no where come back out of retirement and demand a job back, when you have already trained another person to do his job, if you can find a job where a person can do that, please let me know!!!
Apparently, the NFL. Jets got rid of Chad to make room for Brett, and then the Vikings benched T-Jack to make room. Now they are winners. Oh, also, Tonight Show host is another example. Basically any job where you are still better than the person they replaced you with, unless your boss is a douche with a napolian complex and likes being humiiliated on national TV a lot.
um ok, and when the jets got rid of chad for brett, favre sucked because he had to deal with the elements in new york, and what did chad do, he had an mvp year last year and owned up with the dolphins. And once again, the only reason why favre is doing so well is because he doesnt have to freeze his ass of outside during december and january like he did with the packers and the jets. His old body cant handle the cold weather anymore, hence why he sux in freezing temps!!!!
Ok Berner. Favre's has outdone Rodgers record for 2 straight years with two different teams, beat the Packers twice, went further in the playoffs and beat Rodgers out in pro-bowl voting. He also kept Rodgers on the bench for 3 years, and the Vikings kicked the fuck out of your shitty Cowboys. Rodgers is very good, and if you think hes better, fine. But to tell me I dont know anyting about football because I disagree, when all the evidence says Im right, just makes YOU a fucking idiot.
I dont like getting involved in other ppls arguments but the only real evidence is that the packers d gave up 90 points in the 2playoff games, favre had a little bit better of a team around him, just saying theres no evidence of anything, its all opinion, he ruined 3 different teams hopes 3 years in a row, mass amounts of ints killing the jets playoff chances, the int gainst the giants, and this year, pretty bad for anybody
@berner316 Rodgers will be a better QB then Favre when it's all said and done. Rodgers is a much smarter QB. His arm is just as good as Favre's was and he much more mobile than Favre was. Rodgers kinda reminds me of Steve Young in his prime.
You should post the video of him completing his 6,300 pass!!!

Heck, I want to see all of his records broken, except this one.

@gflaten44 508 career TD's, 336 INTS = 1.5 to 1 touchdown to Int ratio... this is terrible, A good QB should be atleast 3 to 1. the only thing great about favre his how long he played.

Notice a trend here.
Air17JordanBaller23 6 months ago
@Craigster45 First off it was only the second season they've met so don't act like it's Brady vs Manning. Second Favre played on better TEAM in 09 then Aaron Rogers did. So yeah you expect them to beat his TEAM. I mean they did play in the NFC title game. And third Rogers played on a better TEAM then Favre did last year so again you would expect them to beat his TEAM. I mean they did win the Superbowl. By the way I don't think losing two games to 39-40 year old man is gonna taint Rogers career.
landinmycourt 7 months ago
@landinmycourt first off, i wasnt talking about win loss. second off vikings were not better then the packers team wise. they have absolutely no defence. you cant name one player that stands out. 09-10 vikings were good cuz of favre harvin and rice. why were harvin and rice stand out? because of favre, favre took a team that noone even knew about and put them in 1st rank. when rodgers went to the superbowl on a 6 team. i was talking about statistics, favre beat him on statistics every year.
Craigster45 7 months ago
@landinmycourt yards td's td/int everything for passing statistics besides this one. and the only reason why rodgers got so much statistics this year was because of jennings yards after catch, i mean gosh damn. i dont even know why your trying ot argue with me about this.
Craigster45 7 months ago
@Craigster45 Yeah I don't know why I'm arguing with you about this cause you just keep jumping all over the place when I comeback at you. You went from the Packers being lucky to win the SB, to Aaron Rogers losing to a 39-40 year old, to now Favre being the leader in TD,s, INT's and passing. As far as Rogers the reason his statistics were so good was because he threw 28 TD's and only 11 INT's with a bad running game, as opposed to Favre who threw 11 TD's and 19 INT's with a good running game.
landinmycourt 7 months ago
@landinmycourt because your so stupid its sad. obviousely if you look at any other year with favre vs rodgers favre won. and he wasnt even in his prime. the reason this year was horrible was 1. favre had tendenitious in his elbows. 3 broken bones and a fracture, 2 concussions. AND HE STILL PLAYED THROUGH ALL OF THAT. Brett went through broken fingers at GB. hes a legend ur ego's just to high to understand it. 2. harvin and rice were out of the picture half the time.

And the game losing INT's vs Eagles, Giants and Saints.
landinmycourt 7 months ago
@landinmycourt r u fucking retarded? there 3-1 NFL apologized to the vikings for the loss. but there was nothing they could officially do. they cant re-do w/l or else the jets and patriots game when the patriots cheated woulda been changed. r u fucking dumb again? 05 was the only year he lead the league in int's and guess who had a broken finger? i'm only guessing you didnt watch the game nor are you a packer fan. because anyone with a brain would know that 5 of those 6 went right through
Craigster45 7 months ago
@Craigster45 Am I retarded? Where in the NFL record book does it say that the Vikings beat the Packers last year in Greenbay. So the league apologized to the Vikings...kinda they liked they apologized to other teams who fell victim to bad officiating. And why do they apologize, cause they can't reverse a win or lose meaning that regaurdless of a bad call the final score of the game stands meaning that the Packers were 2-0 against Vikings last season. If you can't deal with that FACT then go away
landinmycourt 7 months ago
@landinmycourt the reciever's hands. dont believe me? watch a highlight of it on youtube. dumb shit. in statistic wise it goes down as 6 int's by him. but everyone knows what happend (whos a packer fan anyways.) gosh damn its like u were born yestarday or something GB got a free year this year. lets be honest. if anyone was in there position who can beat the falcons (9 other teams) would have a free ride to the superbowl. dumb shit.

Craigster45 7 months ago
@Craigster45 Yeah...and what does that have to do with Favre league leading 24 INT's in '93, the league leading 29 INT's in '05 and the league leading 22 INT's in '08. The six seasons of throwing 21 INT's or more. The 6 INT playoff game vs the Rams. The 2 TD and 9 INT performance during his last 5 games with the Jets. The 4 INT playoff game vs Vikings. And the game costing INT's vs Eagles, Giants and Saints. The 4-7 playoff record in the playoffs since his last Superbowl appearance.

@Mozicon I swear, getting into a debate with Craigster45 about Bret Favre is like shooting fish in a barrell. Everytime I bring up FACTS about him that are negitive (leading the league in INT's 3 times) all he does is deny, make excuses, curse or say he's a 3 time MVP/ 1 time SB winner/ lead the league in passing this year/ lead the league in TD's that year/ it wasn't his fault, he was injured/ his recievers let him down etc etc etc.
landinmycourt 7 months ago
@Craigster45 LOL!!! I can not believe you are letting someone on youtube you have never met before get under your skin cause that person is hitting you with FACTS about a QB who could give two shits about you. The FACT is he did lead the league in INT's three times. He threw 24 in '93, 29 in '05 and 22 in '08. Now if you have proof that he did not lead the league in INT's those years then PROVE IT!!! If not DEAL WITH IT!!!
landinmycourt 7 months ago
@landinmycourt hey bitch, how many years did he lead the league in td's and passing yards? ooh yeah bitch thats why hes got about 2x more td's then int's.. gosh damn your stupid. DEAL WITH IT CUNT sorry i hate to break this shit down to you. its so sad. hahahahaha.
Craigster45 7 months ago
@Craigster45 LOL!!! Everytime I hit you with FACTS all you do is deny, make excuses, talk about how many TD's he's throw, how many passing yards he has, how many MVP's etc etc. I know he's a 3 time MVP who's lead the league in TD's 4 times and lead in passing 2. But I also know he's lead the league in INT's 3 times, thrown 21 or more INT's in a season 6 times and has a 4-7 playoff record since his last Superbowl appearance in '98. Now if you can dispute that then do it. If not then go away.
landinmycourt 7 months ago
@landinmycourt 4+2 = 6 hmmmmm.. so 6 + 3 mvps, + 1 superbowl ring. so i'll just make that number 10 years with amazing statistics better then any other qb's in the league at the time and 3 years where he lead the league in int's.. dude, you gotta accept the facts. he has way more amazing years then a few bad years. get over yourself. your just in denial. if you cant deny these facts, then get a life. your just nieve. the amazing statistics grounds out the negative ones you dumb shit. lmfao!!
Craigster45 7 months ago
@Craigster45 So where in any of my comments did I deny that he was a 3 time MVP and a 1 time Superbowl winner? Better yet where in any of my comments did I say anything that was untrue about him? Exactly!!! Once again you are getting all bent out of shape cause I'm hitting you with FACTS about your hero that you can't dispute. You tried to deny that he lead the league in INT's and when I told you to prove me wrong you drew blanks. So next time you want to debate someone, bring some amo aka FACTS
landinmycourt 7 months ago
@landinmycourt first of all dumb shit, your angry because im hitting you with cold hard FACTS the point is the positives outweigh the negatives by a ton. and leading the league in interceptions ONLY 3 YEARS out of 20 YEARS. your pathetic if thats all you got on him. i've hitten you with so many facts its unreal, and once again, your a little bitch about it. and leading the league in int's isnt a huge deal. what if no qb threw an int but 1 did? hed lead the league that year, dumb shit.
Craigster45 7 months ago

Craigster45 7 months ago
@landinmycourt i mean, i feel bad for you. you show your lack of knowledge of football so much, i feel like i should stop talking. you bring in your sad facts and there still not good enough, your facts are like throwing pebbles at someone. thats how small they are. dont u get it? theres a reason why hes got almost 2x more td's then int's u go by statistics (which he has almost every great qb statistic ever in the game) and you still blind yourself. i should give u a cookie or something..
Craigster45 7 months ago
@Craigster45 I feel bad for you. You sound like you need a laugh.
Anthony Weiner was widely expected to run for mayor of New York, but he may have to settle for quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings.
When God was handing out athleticism he blessed Brett Favre, but when it came to his private parts, God did not Pick 6.
Deanna Favre released a press statement recently... "Those pictures Brett sent to that reporter were meant for me... but you know Brett... they were intercepted."
landinmycourt 7 months ago
@landinmycourt ahhh dumb ass kid. sad, i have you beat in every COLD HARD FACT that you hafto resort to jokes.. u wonderin why he has about 2x more td's then int's why he lead the league only 3 times in int's when he lead the league in yards and td's for 7+ years. why hes a 3 time mvp and a SB champion. yes kid SB stands for Super Bowl, i wouldnt expect you to know that. warms me to know i destroyed some 12 year old kid in a debate on something he doesnt even know about i feel really bad for u.
Craigster45 7 months ago
@Craigster45 Damn your still angry lemme try again.
Hall of Famer Joe Montana’s son, Nick, after years of watching his dad, will play quarterback at the University of Washington. In a similar story, Brett Favre’s son is quitting school and then re-enrolling, then quitting again, then going back for a year, then taking a break, then flirting with going back, then back to quitting but still studying a little, and then it’s just a guessing game.
landinmycourt 7 months ago
@landinmycourt im not angry im in laughter at how stupid you are.. do you realize how dumb you sound? lmfao!!! what were u even trying to argue with me about? that favre sucks? or that rodgers is better? your obviousely wrong on both and your a bigger fool then you already are now if you actually think one of those is correct.

@gfscarface13 you fucking dumb shit. you said he was the biggest choke artist ever when in over half the games in 98 to 08 it was the defence's fault. your obviousely not a packer fan and you dont keep up with favre. and also dumb shit theres a reason why he has the most consecutive games in NFL history because hes the toughest QB to play the game. playing with broken throwing fingers, torn shoulders, broken ankles and jaw.. get your facts right b4 u talk to me again kid. dumbshit

NO OTHER QB HAS THROWN MORE BONE HEAD DUMB INTERCEPTIONS TO END THEIR SEASON LIKE BRETT.
LMFAO!!!
CHOKER LOST PLAYOFF GAMES FOR THE PACKERS, QUESTION FOR YOU.
Whens the last time Brett Favre had Clutch Drive in the PLAYOFFS to Tie or Win a playoff game???
It doesn't Exist after 1997.

Ok, enough of the childlish talk and name calling, lets get to business.
Answer my question.
When is the last time Brett Favre had a CLutch Drive in the Playoffs to Tie or win, or go ahead in a playoff game???
When?
I Know the Answer, it does Not exist cause he Failed in those situations. Interception by the King of Interceptions.
Answer the question, you wont find one.
gfscarface13 6 months ago
@gfscarface13 are you fucking dumb, you dont need to always be in a clutch situation to be a great quarterback, if you blow the other team away your not gonna be in a clutch situation. in 07 and 09 he shouldnt of even been in those situations cuz his RB shouldnt have turned it over 4 times and in 09 his rb shouldnt of 3 times and recievers twice more.. so basically your whole statement means nothing. you dont need to make clutch plays. some quarterbacks never
Craigster45 6 months ago
@Craigster45 If you continue to act childlish than this debate is useless, Im trying to get to the point of this.
Brett Favre was in the Crucial moments in the playoffs where he had to deliver but Failed.
Favre lost 2, not 1 but TWO Overtime playoff games w/ Interceptions vs philly in 04 & vs NY in 08, threw INT in OT & opposing team kicked field goal & Won the playoffs games. He had his Chances.
Last drive of S.B. XXXII had his chance to Tie the S.B. but Failed w/ way off throw to Freeman &.
gfscarface13 6 months ago
@gfscarface13 LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHA!!! LMFAO!@!!
just you thinking that he failed the packers in superbowl XXXII is the most pathetic thing i've ever heard.. you cant expect a QB to perform miracles every time.. and if he doesnt, you cant diss him for it because nobodys a miracle performer.. im sorry dude, that was pretty damn sad.. so your saying it was tom brady's fault at the end because he didnt throw a 90 yard td pass? lmfao!!
Craigster45 6 months ago
FAILED. Watch the game.
gfscarface13 6 months ago
@gfscarface13 you obviousely have not watched the game. the last pass of the game was clearly in the recievers hands, what did the reciever do with it, dropped. maybe you need to watch the game over again.. the last pass was not to freeman, it didnt need to go to freeman, it was a perfect pass to a reciever that should have caught it. but he didnt. which would have kep the drive going.
Craigster45 6 months ago
@Craigster45 I saw the game last week, I rented the game from Netflix, been watching classic NFL Games to get my mind of the lockout.
Go and watch the final 7 minutes of S.B. XXXII and see how nervous and jittery Favre was, overthrowing Freeman and the other receivers, watch it, and what happend, the packers punted and lost possesion, denver scores, favre couldn't tie the game at the end.
denver wins 31-24 with Favre being Co-MVP with Terrell Davis. Favre's 2 T.O. gave denver 10 Points. A Fact
gfscarface13 6 months ago
@gfscarface13 Wow what a surprise. Craigster45 is once again getting his panties in a bunch about Bret Favre.
This guy just can not stand it when people bring up shortcomings in his career that are proven facts. Like the fact that he lead the league in INT's 3 times. Like the fact that he has a 4-7 record in the playoffs since his last SB appearence.
landinmycourt 5 months ago
@gfscarface13 are in a clutch situation.. now answer me this true or false if you will. Favre doesn't suck, but he does have a tendency to choke (see end of NFC Championships 2009 and 2007) at just the wrong moment, and can get very streaky (see second half of 2008 season) in his old age.

Vikings-Bears, Dec. 28, 2009. Brett Favre, 26/40 321yds 2tds no int. 16 degrees and windy. Besides, Id rather have a QB that struggles in cold weather at times then one who chokes in every big or close game he plays in.

dan4579 2 years ago
once brett cost you guys in the playoffs with a int your gonna run him out of town, its funny how vike fans hated favre for 17 years but once hes comes to your team your all on his nutz
SSJasonX 2 years ago
@SSJasonX Who is "you guys" ? I'm not a Vikings fan. I'm a die hard Packer hater. I'm a fan of another nfc north team( Here's a hint, they always suck), and I live near Green Bay. So obviously, I really get sick of the Packers and I really, really hate the fuck out of them.
dan4579 2 years ago
lol i feel bad for you lions fans
SSJasonX 2 years ago
its even funnier how you packer fans loved him for 17 years now you hate him. IT GOES BOTH WAYS Favre has showed no signs of breaking down this year. Why do you want him to fail so badly? Did he take your GF in Highschool? I mean seriously how old are you. Sad how you guys just hope he throws a INT even though he has only thrown 7 all year. Is his success making you jelous because he had his best statistical year as a viking?
sh0rtymac85 2 years ago
i still like favre i just don't like that purple jersey hes wearing but once he finally does retire he will be in the packer hall of fame and inducted in to canton as a packer

just like he was going to do it on monday night when he faced the packers, or when he went to GB he was going to do it there right? Or in december he was going to break down? oh wait he had 7tds and 4 ints..thats right. I guess if you keep hoping for something itll eventually happen but for now..keep wishing lol

Who! who! How bout Rogers!!! Ha Ha Ha eat it!! Big time QBs make big time plays in big time games!!! Rogers vs Favre, 0-2!!! Rogers in playoffs, 0-1, whith a game losing turnover in OT!!! Not to mention missing Jennings who was wide open! Ha Ha Ha !!!
dan4579 2 years ago
not to mention that facemask on the last play
stewartjosh33 2 years ago
Oh , the face mask. You mean the one that happened after the ball had changed hands, so it would have given the Cards the ball on about the 15? The one that didn't turn his head around so it could easily have been judged incidental? Or are you refering to the blow to the head that Warner took on his TD throw to Fitz that wasn't called? Ya just got out played, and the golden boy choked in overtime. Get used to it, hes young. Hell be choking the Pack out of big games for years to come!!
dan4579 2 years ago
oh and what about the 4 times that fitzgerald just ran right in to woodson and knocked him down? thats not pass interference?
stewartjosh33 2 years ago
Well, no. The ball has to be in the air for it to be pass interference. He didnt grab or lower his shoulder into Woodson, he just ran him down untill Woodson fell over. Their must be some call there, but I'm not sure what it is. I'd like to know, though. Almost seems like Larry found a loophole in the rules.
dan4579 2 years ago
number 1, rodgers didnt choke, he was the only reason why green bay was still in the game, if favre would have been in a game being down by 21, and on top of that had his first play from scrimmage end in a pick, there is no doubt in my mind he would have thrown many more picks. On top of that, rodgers had absolutely NO HELP from the defense, and granted, he did over throw 2 or 3 td passes to jennings, regardless, if rodgers hadnt been there, that game woulda been a BLOWOUT!!!
tfast210 2 years ago
lol how quick you forget, favre led the packers back from 14-0 after ryan grant fumbled twice in a row against the seahawks in 07, Favre can take his team back. RODGERS CHOKED WHEN IT MATTERED
packersinhd 1 year ago 2
@packersinhd hmm how quick are you to forget that grant after fumbling 2 times in a row, set a record for the most yards for a running back in a playoff game, he had over 200 yards and a couple tds, so it wasnt all favre. and also this was rodgers FIRST PLAYOFF GAME!! how many playoff games has favre played in and how many interceptions has he thrown. the vikings were in field goal position and he throws the pick that cost the vikings the game! so favre doesnt choke, ok just keep believing that
tfast210 1 year ago
@tfast210 Favre doesn't choke, he just makes dumbass throws because he gets anxious and doesn't trust his D which has let him down in the eagles 2004 game, 2007 giants game( ask plaxico burres how he treated al harris), 2010 vikings was a ALL AROUND CHOKE -A-THON. The only times Favre seriously choked was the rams 6 int game, and I guess the vikes playoff game but moss owned the packers d that game too, it goes both ways not just one , just because you hate favre, dont be a tool!
sh0rtymac85 1 year ago
@sh0rtymac85 umm ok so favre doesnt choke and its all the defense's fault, what about super bowl 32 when favre almost threw a pick to end the game that was a loss anyways, that must have been the defense's fault too considering it was the top defense for a number of years, oh and was it also mentioned that the in the last 3 years, favre's last pass of the year has been a pick, coinsidence of him choking, you can blame the defense all you want but the defense doesnt throw the bad passes
tfast210 1 year ago
@tfast210 Favre threw three TDs in that game. But you are right, I guess. It's always on Favre. When you're that good, people hold you to a different standard. If they lose, it's always his fault. Brilliant.
langbry 1 year ago
@langbry Im not saying that it was entirely favre's fault that they lost superbowl 32, alot of it was holmgren b/c he had his mind on moving to seattle. But regardless, favre is a gunslinger and he takes chances, he will make a few spectacular plays from the agresivenes but he has lost more games than he has won for being so agressive and wanting to make the big play all of the time which is why he chokes, its because he tries to do everything himself and make the big play when theres no need to
tfast210 1 year ago
@sh0rtymac85 Exactly. How is it a choke when he's the sole reason they're even in the game in the first place? The rest of the team chokes and they turn to Favre say, "Go win the game for us." If he comes up short, to blame it all on him is not fair.
langbry 1 year ago
@langbry that is just how packer fans are though, they want it both ways, because they are butt hurt he is a viking now. It is just stupid The one game I can say where favre was the sole reason the team lost is the playoff game against the rams where he threw 6 ints, that game you can say" ok favre choked big time" The eagles game 4th and 26, the giants game , Al Harris getting owned by burress, Grant rushing for 28 yards!!!!??? really??? 2010, 2 fumbles in the red zone? 12 men on the field???
sh0rtymac85 1 year ago
@sh0rtymac85 Brett Favre Choked vs NY at Home. What does Al Harris getting Owned by Burres have to do with the Epic Interception in OT? Burres can get Owned a Thousand yards & its still not him.
Nothing dude, stop making Excuses for Brett Favre.
Same thing w/ OT at Philly in 04, I know defense blew it, but who can you blame for that Horrible high punt pass to the eagles? Brett, Bad pass.
No Excuses. You dont hear Cowboys & eagles fans make Excuses for their QB's Romo & McNabb, do you, NOPE.
gfscarface13 1 year ago
@sh0rtymac85 And Sherman must not have trusted the O because the Packers could have tried for a first down and not even given the ball the Eagles to get the 4th and 26. To blame the D, the ONLY reason they made to Phillie was a pick six in overtime remember, is wrong. Was it the best D ever? No. But all season it kept the other teams to about their average. It was the O that lost to AZ and DET in 2003 that nearly kept the Packers out of the playoffs altogether.
toolkien 10 months ago
@sh0rtymac85 AND the Packers had the second best point differential in the league in 2003, BEST in the NFC. This hardly happens when "you can't trust your D". It's not like he was Lynn Dickey in 1983 that scored 429 and the D gave up 439. Lastly, in the salary cap/free agent era, most teams chose one side of the ball or the other to be dominant and the other side wasn't supposed to screw up. It was up to the O to win that Phillie game, not the D. If we had been the 2000 Ravens, then yeah...
toolkien 10 months ago
@packersinhd this makes it seem as if youre more of a favre fan than a packers fan. that is aaron rodgers team now. plus, how many playoff games has favre won after winning the superbowl? i mean, i wouldnt have called favre clutch after the playoff game against the giants.
fucker661 1 year ago
@fucker661 one thing I do not understand about packer fans, Favre fans put the SB ring in his resume, but then pack fans say "SB wins are a team effort not individual" Then someone like yourself says "how many playoffs games has favre won since winning the SB?" It is a double standard and not fair, I agree, THE PACKERS WON THE SB NOT JUST FAVRE THAT YEAR, but really, the playoff losses can't be all blamed on favre, I mean 4th and 26?!! I mean reallly?? D stops them, no need for OT against eagles
sh0rtymac85 1 year ago
@packersinhd by the way, i never said i hated favre, he is one of my favorite athletes, what i dont like about him is his offseason desicions for the last 5 years of not going to training camp and waffling around deciding whether or not to retire, does favre throw picks, yes, he is a gunslinger and a risk taker which has lost more games than it has won, but i enjoyed watching favre playing in his prime, you just never knew what he was going to do next, he kept the game interesting
tfast210 1 year ago
um ok, how about favre chocking constantly in the playoffs in the past 10 years, aside from this year, ever since the 98 super bowl season, favre has won what 2 games in the playoffs, and the loss they had against the Giants was none other than favre choking in another big game in his life. The only reason favre is doing better this year is for the simple fact that he is living life in a dome, he cant handle the cold weather any more and chokes anytime he does play in cold weather now!!
tfast210 2 years ago
Hey, I hear if the Vikings win the superbowl they are gonna put Ted Thompsons name up on there ring of fame. Is it especially warm in November? Because it looked like Brett played just fine when he dick-slapped Packer nation on Nov.1, 2009. Boy, that game was hillarious. Hey, what was your prediction before that game?
dan4579 2 years ago
hahahaha, i didnt know that 60 degrees in november was cold, favre can't play in the cold, the nfc championship game proved that 100%, and if you say "oh he won the week before" well the only reason why he won the week before is because ryan grant rushed for over 200 yards and a couple touchdowns!
tfast210 2 years ago
It seems as if choking in the playoffs has become a Packer thing, not so much a Favre thing, doesnt it? Go ahead. Trash Favre all you want, but its a losing battle, because nothing you can say can change the fact that Bretts teams have gone 21-11, while Green Bay has gone 17-15 since Favre left, while also beating the Packers twice, and going further in the playoffs. Twist it however you want, but the fact is that Ted got schooled, and Brett is a great player who you dont have anymore, suck it.
dan4579 2 years ago
no you can keep brett man, i am glad he is gone, i was and still am a diehard favre fan, but you just wait when the vikings lose this sunday, when you have to deal with all the favre melodramatic "am i gunna retire, or am i not" crap. Then training camp will come to an end and a week before preseason starts he will be like "i want my starting spot back, give it to me or else i will have a hissy fit"
tfast210 2 years ago
and no, ted did not get schooled, please tell me, in what job out there can you retire for 3 months, and then out of no where come back out of retirement and demand a job back, when you have already trained another person to do his job, if you can find a job where a person can do that, please let me know!!!
tfast210 2 years ago
Apparently, the NFL. Jets got rid of Chad to make room for Brett, and then the Vikings benched T-Jack to make room. Now they are winners. Oh, also, Tonight Show host is another example. Basically any job where you are still better than the person they replaced you with, unless your boss is a douche with a napolian complex and likes being humiiliated on national TV a lot.
dan4579 2 years ago
um ok, and when the jets got rid of chad for brett, favre sucked because he had to deal with the elements in new york, and what did chad do, he had an mvp year last year and owned up with the dolphins.
