perhaps insult to singing is a little harsh. she can hold a tune, but people make her out to be some virtuosic performer, like a female pavarotti or something. if it weren't for her looks i doubt she would have been nearly as successful as she has been. she has a nice voice, but on a technical level i don't rate her, which i think is a shame for the many more technically accomplished singers who are struggling to get work, and will never receive anything like the same level of recognition.

@landerson2129 : in your first post you did not say you 'disliked' her singing, you described her as an insult to singing, not the same thing. Merely disliking it no one can really quibble about as that is personal taste, ut to describer her as an insult to singing is also to insult her millions of fans. If you are going to voice such trashy and unsupported opinions then expect to get trashed in turn. Common sense really.

Katherine is hardly "an insult" to singing!! At least she can sing, has a strong voice and is passionate about it. She doesn't need to bounce around in her underwear on stage and mime to the song a la Cheryl Cole....
