@CaesarLVI Dominion is still my favorite Risk variation; lots of customization, games can be played asynchronously (and multiple games at a time) and the iPad version is brilliant for local multiplayer :)
@PITUKITO666222 In the classic rules it's only one 'attack phase' per territory, one unit must always be left in the attacking players territory and dice rolls continue until a winner is determined. So there are multiple attacks, but this is occurs in the space of one overall attack. As mentioned, this can be done for each of your territories as long as they have 2 or more units in a territory (this allows for 'blitzes' where players can literally plow deep inside enemy territory in one turn).
@dane7902 All the better! But I still feel a bit gushy over the HD version - it's just a perfectly created board game for something the size of the iPad :)
What a shame. Good review. But ive been waiting for the official risk game for a while, but it looks nothing like the old original version!
Which i wouldnt of minded if they'd decided to update the gameplay. Or for instance in the old version you could attack New Zealand from Argentina which made it immediately more difficult to conquer either continent!
@peterk87 Definitely a good point; I thought it was weird that I was able to consistently capture the Australia area and hold it indefinitely (with such a narrow choke it's practically immune from recapture).
@AppSpy it's 69p
I am thinking about getting either this or age of conquest: world.
aoc is 3 quid.
which one is better? I love aoc lite :)))
