  • That was awesome man i like your voice!

  • Give This Mic This Quality Or You Mixed It A lot ?

  • @colorecordz1 I did very little mixing. no eq on the vocal. just reverb

  • Comment removed

  • @dvyue The Rode NT1A is a good mic for the price. You also need the right recording environment and need a little mixing knowledge

  • @dvyue Mixing programs or DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) aren't as important as ic placement and room sound. I did the audio for this in garageband.

  • This has convinced me to buy this mic. Ignore the idiots, they don't get that this mic is impressive BECAUSE it does so well on subtle, beautifully toned soft vocals. Great demo for it!

  • @Yalf111 thanks

  • the sound of that mind is so so so so soooo good man

    can't wait to get mine.

  • @NBSuFFLeRz Great mic, sooo worth the money

  • @skidmoretristan Don't complain about that to me... I didn't write it.

  • GAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

  • @skidmoretristan Alright bud...

  • Good song chouce ;) Absaluty amazing song!!!!!!!!

  • he was hopping abit when he was dancing haha lol

  • Hey good voice ! Did you use the M-Audio Fast Track ? What the effect/filters to put on to have a great voice sound ? Thanks for your tips !

  • @CaptainJbp Yeah, I used the Fast Track. Just a bit of reverb on this one.

  • @TheFlashbackAudio hey my friend i just got one of them mic i need help recording what you use to make your voice sound like that thanks of any help!!!!

  • Is this a usb microphone?

  • @chassyboo908 NO!

  • What song is this? And where's the rest of ur vids my dude!!!!

  • Nicee && quick question i have the same mic & everything but my shock mount wont stay upward like how yours is can u help me plzzzz :)

  • Wow!!

I espect a gangsta voice but this is precious :D

  • @Bboy3RMusic Also, Look up some vids on audio engineering to help you out. I head lots of clipping in one of your tracks. Keep your eye on the level. Good Luck with future uploads. Also, If you are into rap check out my Gold Digger cover. I really changed it up.

  • @Bboy3RMusic Hey there, The First thing you should try is not compressing the video. Larger file size is always better for both video and music. I had the same problem with my Scar Tissue cover and thats what it was for me. What file type are you exporting your song as? WAV or AIF are the best to use. Also, how high did you have the input level on the fast track? I noticed in one of your vids it looked almost maxed which is never a good thing. Create a nice room sound with your DAW.

  • Hey! This is a great cover of that song but I also have a question. When I played it, the sound from the microphone is clear and I use te same microphone and when I record and edit the sound is the same but when I upload it, the sound is muffled. If you don't mind, can you take the time to check out a video or two of my covers with the microphone? Either How To Love or The Show Goes On videos. I'm wondeirng how to take the muffle out of my sound. Thanks :D

  • This is dope fam ! Hit me up for a collab

  • nice vocals

  • what exactly is an interface? and how does it work, do i connect it with the mic and computer? also how to get an interface does it come with the rode nt1a or do i need to buy it somewhere else?

  • @DUMBF0UND3D Your interface is what you use to connect the mic/instrument to the computer. It'll be USB or Firewire. You'll have to buy the interface separately from the mic and for a 1 or 2 input you'll pay around $115. The Rhode will come with the xlr cable, mount and filter.

  • jajaja si claro ya te creíii solo haces una imitacion

  • LOL

  • what soundcard or audio interface u used?

  • @jebonlalok M-Audio Fast Track

  • @TheFlashbackAudio WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THE BLUE ICICLE INSTEAD OF A FAST TRACK!!!

  • @SuperBri67 I've only ever used the fast track but you can run the same number of inputs at a time so to me it doesn't really matter. I would probably take the fast track though only cause I hate dealing with digital controls

  • @MrShawComputer with an interface, uou cant just plug it in to your computer, you will need an interface for that. It's not like an isb eh!;)

  • i just got this mic... how is it connected to your computer?

  • @TheFlashbackAudio ok thanks

  • Comment removed

  • What type of preamp are you using with this microphone to record?

  • what mixer do you use for rode nt1a

  • @LauReNt196100 I just ran it straight through my single input fasttrack

  • LOL! YOUR VOICE TOTALLY CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD xD hahahaha

  • @therealneon LMAO it tends to do that

  • @AllThingsFresh702 The right is only the reverb and the left is the dry audio. I accidentally recorded in stereo so I was unable to pan the tracks after recording.

  • Hi dude, could you please tell me which interface are you using with this mic?

  • @nize19LSR M-audio Fast Track

  • Hi dude, could you please tell me which interface are you using with this mic?

  • Really, REALLY great voice mate, just to say though, if you are going to be messing around with channels (I'm wearing stereo studio headphones and can tell) you are going to want to start with having the vocals on the right, and the guitar on the left. Then have a track where they are both in the middle and mix that over the top. This'll give you a nice, even coverage, but also a split like the professionals.

    Good luck!

  • @womblehog Thanks for the advice man.. I just forgot to change my tracks to mono so i couldn't pan at all to the right. Stupid mistake :P

  • why is everything panned to the left....

  • good job, and really nice singing voice! I'm looking at improving my sound, i'm singin off an iphone and uploading to youtube at the moment, that HAS to change! lol... considering this mic, kristy :-D

  • Is that room sound proofed at all? I was considering that mic but I don't want it if it picks up a lot of room noise. It sounds really good though.

  • @djaxium1 Nope not at all :)

  • @TheFlashbackAudio HI!..

much whether it was applied EQ for vocal?

  • which Audio Interface did u use to plug this mic??

  • Dope.

  • amazing job..u sing betta than Bieber

  • @keyino Everyone does lol

  • Very nice! Hey i have the same mic as u? but for some reason i cant get it to work when im recording my videos. It would constantly feed off the built in mic from my webcam. I even set the Nt1a as my def mic but still wont work? any suggestions?

  • @rhythms24 Try running it through any DAW. You could use Garageband or even Audacity if you can't get the bigger programs. It doesn't matter which one you use. Record it through there and sync it up to the video after using your computers default video editing software :)

  • Defently an issue with the balance between the speakers. But doesnt matter for this! The sound is awesome. I bought this myself, and should recieve it within a couple of days. I don't know how much time you put into mastering it, but so far, I love the sound! p.s. nice voice ;-)

  • @Amotaraso Yeah, i didn't really even touch the mix but the problem was i didn't change the tracks to mono before recording lol. Sweet mic. and thanks :P

  • @TheFlashbackAudio ahh nice even better :D So the sound from this video is actually a clear natural sound. Looking very much forward to get mine now hehe ^^

  • @DiapasooN1 Yeah, everything all done with this mic :)

  • very great i like it ^-^

  • @ItsKnucklez mike tyson

  • @RichsBrainless Hahahaa

  • wonderful !!! <33

  • Nice stuff!

  • too much left

  • @DarelBah All left haha. forgot to change the track channel from stereo to mono.

  • @TheFlashbackAudio haha yea can hear the effects tail on the right though, strange hearing the vocals on the laft and the reverberation on the right =P

  • BEĞENDİM GÜZEL :)

  • Which is better? this or AKG perception 220?

  • @Boxietherabbit I would personally prefer this one, but it all comes down to preference. The AKG has the 20dB pads and low cut filter and that... try em out in store and get whichever sounds better to you. I like this for my voice and it sounds great on my guitar as well.

  • @ItsKnucklez I was in the gulf of Mexico a few years back just leisurely swimming in the ocean. An 8 foot Tiger shark came out of nowhere and started attacking and it took that piece of my ear off. I also have other scars on my body from the incident.

  • @TheFlashbackAudio

    Your my hero....Seriously.

  • Nice one mate.

I've got a question, what gear do you use with this mic ?

I mean , mixer & stuff like this.

  • @JokyFlow

Just running the mic in through an M-audio Fast Track

  • GEJANJE

  • I just bought the mic, but I think the problem is I can't sing

  • hey nice video.

    i gotta question...did u edit your recording?

because its a very clear and vibrant sound.

    sounds very good!

    please answer

  • @Dreikut Hey, Just a little reverb, Great sounding mic though.

  • amazing vocals bro

  • yes yes yes yes<3 thank youuuuuuuu
