  • Show me someone who has built a strong , muscular body by using this method and then I will consider it.

  • @gbtcsa If you are actually interested, there is plenty of data, including video and images. This is a training method that's been used by body builders for quite a long time. You're sitting in front of a computer; if you want the information it's at your fingertips. If you're just interested in being snarky, your choice.

  • SuperSlow is a 10/10 cadence and if done for an appropriate rep range (only around 3 to 4 reps, or about 60 to 80 seconds) does not require a lower weight than would normally be used.

Some people may have to reduce the weight they use at first, but this is because they were using very poor form to begin with and moving slower forces them to use better (harder) form, but not anywhere near as little as 25% of 1RM.

  • I am getting back into the gym after years of absence. I am thinking of using super slow as a way of getting myself back into the groove of things before going to heavier schedule.

  • Took about 6 years off of Personal Training. I needed some motivation to remember my abilities. Watched this video and want to thank you because your clear, and energetic persona has inspired me again! Thank you George !

  • nothing is better than superslow, i do mentzer heavy duty hit training with it.

  • you want to be weak? do this...

  • I can do pushups good. But today I decided to do push ups really slowly. Normally, I could do 50 pushups in a row - but doing it slowly I can barely do 10. Super slow is the ultimate exercise method.

  • look at strongmen, powerlifters, olympic lifters, pro natural and drug enhanced bodybuilders, athletes. nobody trains with super slow training and does conventional multiple set, moderate reps or low reps. this shit is fuckign stupid no wonder it hasn't caught on.

  • @bigbobabc123 Then again this is really hard...

  • @youngmo77 then again top level athletes train hard and do whatever works no matter how hard it is. which is not this shit.

  • i did super slow for 2 months. It does hurt your ego to cut your weights in half^^

but you barge through barriers, gain extreme strength and growth.

as soon as you feel the difference you dont give a shit about the drawbacks

  • It sucks! I don't want to do exercise that makes me think about what I'm doing.

  • Excellent vid people complain that u use light weight...obviously...you arent cheating, your form is better and its more intense then your body adapts to it so you increase the weight over time:-)

  • it is very easy to shock your muscles this way

  • Good but the weights are too light...50% 75% of the weight you were doing before you may get back to and beyond the old weights.

  • I'm very happy with my results from superslow. Certainly beats the chronic sore back and shoulders I got from olympic lifting. My strength has improved a great deal also since I started superslow.

  • This method does not work!!
