North Face backpacks last you forever. And it is totally worth it. I've had mine for five years, and i'm still using it. I've used it for hiking, school, etc. It's just that good of a back pack. The only thing I have a problem is with the new models, the straps look really cheesy and it seems that the material looks kinda...weird. Best thing of all, is that it has a LIFETIME Warranty, therefore you can go to a NF store and what ever problems you have, they'll fix it and send it back to you =]

the only thing i dont like about northface backpacks is that on the inside, there are pockets without zippers on them. even though they are nicely divided, stuff will fall out of their pockets easily.
