I think it's really inappropriate to criticize a fantastic artist like Vengerov. Whoever can play better than him might show it to the public!

I think it is a real miracle that there are people who can play like him and as I am playing the violin myself I know what I am talking about!

Could be the pick up , let's hope - while there is bravura show violin playing

there is very little violin music making ..at 10.15 the vulgar Russian school

of playing comes into strong play - it all lacks imagination and charm .
