You are right but the movie is educational and low budget. The smoke effects are amateurish so are the actors but they made good Qur'an references when the Death Angel came. They want to just show that lazy people you will probably have a painful frightful death (Allah knows best).

Why is it so much like the grim reaper? I don't recall any hadith or Allah's sayings in the Quran that depicts Izrail, angel of death, in such a way.

You are right but the movie is educational and low budget. The smoke effects are amateurish so are the actors but they made good Qur'an references when the Death Angel came. They want to just show that lazy people you will probably have a painful frightful death (Allah knows best).
I hope that your death experience doesn't come with special effects with thunders and explosions like Hollywood movies. One wishes for a simple easy way out death :-)
