this song is based off of a short story called "the shadow over insmouth" by H.P. Lovecraft, a 1920s horror writer. read the book. its good (but scary as hell). its written in the early 20th century, so the wording might be too advanced for some young or non-readers.

ok, since hes been damaging his vocal chords for a while. what happens is when u talk or sing they smash together and after a long time the blood vessels start to bleed and theres a laser surgery that they zap those damaged parts and it revives them somewhat, thats how the singer of aerogay can still do those high notes fairly well for so long. i think james should get this surgery and his shit would be back to at least black album status
