There's no scrambling involved, but it's a long tiring trudge up never-ending scree slopes. It's a killer for the thigh muscles!

Portree is really that close to Bruath Na Frithe? I'm going to Scotland this coming May and i'll be hopefully climbing it on my way through a walk

Portree is about a 20-minute drive from where you'd start the walk to Bruach na Frithe.
