This is awesome. I am from Nashville and remember going to summer camp in Panama City, FL when I was in high school in the late 80a and the guest singer was none other than Billy Sprague! All the girls had a crush on him. :) The music really spoke to me and I bought a cassette (dang, I am old!) I have tried to find the same music on cd or downloads and is difficult! Sad, because I remember belting out those lyrics and can still do so...wish I could find CDs or downloads from back then...
Its so glad to see you! I haven't seen you performe since I was about 9years old, I am now 31. You were my first childhood crush lol. this was beautiful to see. The next video we need is "Streets of Gold".
Wow, Mr Sprague, you hav grown old.. never forget our time In Barcelona -94 and your time here in Sweden. God Blezz _-Bob van den Eijkhof (son of Tjebbo)
I heard this song for the first time at a Maundy Thursday service last night. What an amazing song. My 14-year-old left the church talking about how much he loved the song -- I can't tell you the last time that happened at church (if ever)! Kudos to the songwriter.
Just fantastic. I think it's one of the best song ever written. It was a good idea to sing it as you did in the street of Jerusalem, simply with your guitar. This song will last for ever.
Never Give Up...Somebody told me that years ago...I'm so glad you were able to do this via Dolorosa video...what a blessing. Thought of you just two days ago...peace.
I have always loved Billy's music. It sounds just as good as it did back when I was a teenager and saw him live in concert. I have been looking for his music recently, and was delighted to find this.
that song is on the "la vie" album. I've been a billy fan for years too; I'd love to get the old serious fun album on cd...Thank you Billy..you continue to be a blessing.

Thanks, Billy! That really meant a lot to me after all of these years, just as it did over two decades ago when I was a young man. Bless you.

Have any idea where I can find his music? I am looking for a song: Life is Hard, or la vie est dure? Thanks!
