I agree but i wouldn't of changed a thing, Ministry was early one of the most violent bands to see they were so brutal back in a day when everyone wanted to basically act like Human League and be nice. If you remember the 80s were the days of Raganomics and AIDS there was a felling that the world was coming to an end and this was the soundtrack.
@AOCRkid You might notice the whiskey bottle he's drinking from. It had a MINISTRY label on it, but taking a swig of it, I was convinced it was jet-fuel, not just moonshine. I remember stage-diving, swinging off from the middle of the fence after taking a swig. I landed on the floor of the moshpit. Didn't notice I had broken any bones landing, until I woke up the next day. All I could feel, was my throat burning, for the rest of the show.
there used to be shows like this every weekend, in chicago we had so many bands to see Zeotrope, Naked Raygun, also seen Ministry, AOF, The Explooited and more at the Aragon, The Cubby Bear and The Thirsty Whale, and the Fireside bowl god I miss those days..... The Pit was real and for the most part if you fell you were helped up and for the most part we all stuck together and looked out for one another and Jello said it bets nazi punks fuck off
Man I may be dateing myself I went to college with Al and the the others from Ministry at columbia, they used to play in the student lounge a few times.I also worked for Jeff ward when he was drumming in a hair band playing at the thirsty whale.Same for Dan Donegan from Disturbed and Tyler bates who now does movies like Sucker Punch. Man how hair bands have changed lol.
I Also laugh at the 16yr olds who wear Ramones shirts and say they seen then live
@Meggadezz It looks better from afar. The 80s sucked, man. Police were a lot less friendly to people going to shows like this, and if the cops didn't beat your ass, some mean nazi punks might stomp your guts out. The music was amazing, though. And at least we had the sense to not shave our friggin pubes. Enjoy the 80s from a distance. Be glad we suffered through them for you. Go forth and be a millennial.
wow..this takes me back nuts..

@thatentrenchingtool Yes the kids love to fantasize about how cool the 80s where but it was indeed a dangerous time to be "different"
