Bill Alfonso and the whistle. I loved RVD's old character, a guy who the fans loved but EVERYONE hated his manager and that damn whistle. I think thats the only thing that made RVD a heel in the old ECW, that and all the show bouting but fans loved that. Became an RVD trademark.

Bill Alfonso and his stupid whistle are one of the only things I despised from the old ECW(and the guy with the neck brace). I'm glad they didn't return for the new ECW. Although they might've fit right in 'cause the new ECW blows(except for Christian). Why'd they find it necessary to change they ECW title? What, no TV or tag team division either? No wrestlers from other companies to challenge ECW's champs either? TNA and ROH are more like ECW than ECW is today. Hopefully RVD will return soon...
