Winning is not all about showing how good & how complicated you initiate your kicks. What i can see here is that, Son Tae Jin is playing the most basic attack (Turning kick?) to defeat his opponent without a need of unleashing a full strength?

The match may showed it boring, but to the fighters in the ring..Playing the most strategy way is to win instead of showing all his best move. He is rather a defensive player, from my personal view.

hmmm... Son Taejin is insanely good, but to me the cuban guy won this one. Lots of people and atheltes said the judging in these olympics was unfair and you can see how the cuban reacts after appearently scoring a point and not given the score in part 2
