@eoinb57 Smit made a habit out of breaking the rules. Once he headbutted a guy (ironically named Smith) while getting up after a throw, knowing the ref wouldn't see it. Their first fight, he kicked Changphuak in the head after he fell over and was sitting, and just couldn't stop holding the ropes. Here again, rope holding, and elbows on the spine and back of the head. The worst is he consistantly fights on after the ref pauses the fight.

smit dose have the reach advantage but kiatsonglit also didn't or couldn't take the advantage away once they were close either. i've seen his fight with hoost and it's the same way. Changpeuk is a great fighter but when fighting against beast you need to be like choi bae-dal aka mas oyama.
the reach seems to be the factor that all the thai boys mention. But they are both in the same wieght class, and alot of the fight was close range. I have bouted with people alot taller than me before, but i never complained.

Changpheuk even fought Branco Stojakovic and
Ernesto Hoost who were even bigger than Smit
and the Thai was KO'd yet again. I mean c'mon
Changpeuk walked around at 160 lbs and was fighting
200 + lbers. He was Kaoklai Kaennorsing's hero
and inspired Kaoklai to enter K-1 and fight much
larger men except Kaoklai actually beat them.
