I've heard it performed at this fast tempo. However, I sung it slower. I feel each lines flows better slower. The second movement is my favorite Brahms piece so far. You guys are amazing.

Absolutely Beautiful! Yes, a slower tempo would really make this into a superb offering. Brahms demands that you drink in all of those musical moments with measured attention.

WAY too fast from how Brahms really intended it. The long notes, violinesque, not trumpet.
