  • I'll I make a movie about him one day

  • Thanks for this video. It's a pretty good introduction to the topic. @TheGesb79 - it's not all that ironic when you consider that Carson was from an upper-class, land-owning Protestant family. The Guinness clan were pretty much the same. One of the Arthurs was a Tory MP for a while. I find THAT a little ironic given that people often drink Guinness for its Oirishness :)

  • Unionists opposed to Democract for centuries, something the media fail to point out but which was the cause for all the deadths in Ireland

  • donegal , cavan and monaghan are forgotten about but they played thier part in securing that the other six counties remained part of the uk but are forgotten now as they are in the south of ireland

  • Is this really on the beginning the voice of Edward Carson? Or is it Ian Paisley? If anyone knows I would be greatful for response.

  • @doczg88

    Ian Paisley

  • @doczg88 donegal was forgotten about but they played thier part too

  • Catholicism is a good thing ROMANISM or IRISH catholicsm is a mystical psycho babble bullshit.

  • my view point... i live in northern ireland im nor nationalist or unionist but what i do believe is fact im a british citizen i live i 1 of 4 british states which make up the united kingdom of britian my passport is british my welfare is british! i commonly assume people to be from the south as foreigners lol i know ireland will ever be 1 thats like sayin korea is going to be 1 just not going to happen! ireland.. 1 island 2 countries!! simples eeekkkk

  • @daleislash Was Carson a foreigner?

  • @Ligerpride Lol Speak for yourself you reject lol, just because he's not on ur side you fucking idiot. Awh are you going 2 cry because daleislash is a British citizen.

  • @BritishLad87 I love the English language. Tremendously fluent and poetic.

  • @daleislash i think 1 island 2 irelands sounds better!

  • @daleislash And you are not Unionist? Yet you are adament that you are British despite the fact you live in Ireland. It is one country. The Irish nation is over 1500 years old. The 2 sectarian states were violently created on the basis of a sectarian headcount in 1921. This was despite the fact that the Irish Republic was democratically established in 1918. Also Sunningdale failed miserably in 1974, what makes people think it will suceed now?

  • @Bepold Who are you 2 tell him hes not? you poorly educated idiot. He lives in Northern Ireland you idiot. he has the right to call himself British, so shut up you reject. there is Irish people all over Northern Ireland that class themselfs as British & Fight in the British Armed Forces, the same way Northern Irish People are British you dumb fuck. you are living in the past. keep up with the real world you brainless reject. Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland are 2 Different Countires. Fact

  • @BritishLad87 You say I am poorly educated yet you do not put capitals at the start of your sentences. So what about the people from all over Ireland including Ulster who fought for the IRA? People from Ulster are Irish and that includes the six counties. They are misled by you sectarian bigots. Also Northern Ireland and the Free State are 2 sectarian, violently created statelets. I would call you a retard but I wouldn't inslult people with an IQ less than 70 by comparing them to you. Brits Out.

  • @Bepold Is this the best you have got, talk back by the way i comment a simple message on YouTube. Boy you make me feel sorry for you. how about you sort you're life out & stop caring and worrying about what other people think you childish creep. I pity you who understands nothing, you uneducated idiot.

  • See you forgot to mention the fact the the Irish volunteers split, with the vast majority (my great gran-father being one) went to fight in WW1?? Surely their sacrife shouldn't be fogotten so loyalist can use the somme for a porpaganda excuse.

  • Sorry, I genuinely meant to say both sides split to fight in WW1.

But the Loyalists did use it far more as their "blood sacrifice" than the Irish Volunteers.

  • @Catholicism777 No they didnt you are forgetting volunteers from Leinster Munster and Connaught/

  • @Catholicism777 No that is simply untrue. The combined forces of Munster Leinster Connaught more than outdo the volunteering of Ulster (even without Ulster Catholics in the ranks) The cemeteries around the Somme and Messines cannot be ignored

  • Unionists from the North....I am lost from the south..

Why talk about no surrdenr? Surrender to what? the IRA are gone....

Can't the North and South get on now....?

Its actually quite upsetting that we show that much bitterness to each other----

because of a (very) complex situation that happend hundreds of years ago.

Yes I show more sympathy to the natioanlsit side (but i'm not a nationalist)

(nor a unionist) it's time to forget the past....

  • @Peadarisback Yeah. Forget the past and accept Ulster is British.

  • @mitchking2006 well I can see your defeinitly not forgetting it with that comment.

I accsept that for now Ulster is British (I would like it to be Irish)

but I don't want an IRA insurection over it like the trouble's....

It is up to the people of the North if they want to be part of the republic or not I'll respect their vote and at the minute their vote says that they want to be part of Britian which is fine.

  • @Peadarisback Fair enough. Appreciate you view.

  • What was the music in the background?

  • @stukafaust

    Conquest to Paradise by Vangelis

  • @stukafaust

    Conquest to Paradise by Vangelis

  • What was the music in the background?

  • Sir Edward Carson and James Craig are two patriots, who will for generations to come, inspire Ulster loyalists.

    NO SURRENDER!

  • An excellent unbias video. thanks for posting
