i have the galaxy nexus with the 30$ 100min and 5gb data plan. and im getting about
1.3mbps inside my house with about 2 bars. outside im while im at school. im getting about 3-5mbps. one time i reached 23mbps but that is SUPER rare. my verizon htc thunderbold with lte usally get about 10mbps on average but you pay the price with 3 hours of battery life which is shit. and 3-5 mb is still really good!
Go Into a T-mobile store and show them this. Your phone is an 4G phone and T-Mobile advertises it as just that. So go to a store and complain and ask for some answer's. I am sure they will assist u with this issue. Also, I am sure that the $60 and $70 plans are the best problem free plans they offer under the T-Mobile Monthly 4G service. I hope u get this worked out and get the service u pay for cause I love T-Mobile.

I get 3-6 mbps on the mytouch 4g slide ($60 plan) in nyc

i have virgin mobile and get about the same, it suck so bad. i feel your pain. i'm thinking of getting verizon but its way to much.
