It is from The Shakespeare Code with the witches, where Lilith stabs one of the Doctor's hearts and he lies unconscious on the floor. The floorboards and other scenery has been edited out and stuff

Well its more like the end of an era - Paul McGann and the Big Finish plays kept the series alive during the hiatus but RTD and his style of show brought it back to a multi-fan-base quality. It was the same when T. Baker left - a lot of things changed after him.

The ring is picked up by donna, if u notice in most of the epsoides with donna in she is wearing that ring. Also you know the drum beat the master does it is the same drum breat when donna is in the tardis and the hand turns into the doctor.
