This was probably my favorite of all Intelli games. Either this, or Activisions Dreadnought Factor. I spent so many hours playing this thing. For years, even when I went back to grad school. I loved it when I got that super book or whatever that allowed you to walk through walls! This game was really well thought out and play balanced. It was possible to win if you were smart and made the right moves, but it was never easy.
Oh the memories. I remember playing this game for 24hrs straight when it first came out. I remember you could get some kind of artifact that would upgrade everything to platinum?
The trick to this game was to find the right board, start off in a war maze, build up your war score....then go through a spiritual gate. It was easier to get war experience points more than spiritual. Build up, find the magic doors, than beat them to get the special books.
What a great system with some really cool, innovative games. Just goes to show that sometimes the best system doesn't win the "console wars" (cough cough XBox cough).
What an awesome game for the early generation's elite system. The three AD&D games for Intellivision were great, this one probably the best of them. Atari's 'Adventure' had it's great charm, but this was an RPG game at it's finest back then.
better job than ive done.

God this game is awesome. Still my favourite game of all time. Although, in your playthrough, you missed a metric ton of secret doors :P
