thailand wins the national costume, i think, she wears a very historical and very nationalistic costume. thats a natiolnal costume is all about, not wearing a very big head dress, or big designs at their backs. just being simple is better

Miss Mexico is stunningly beautiful & has a real good shot at winning the crown. But here's my question: both times the Miss Universe Pageant was held in Mexico (1993 and 2007), Ms. USA got booed by the Mexican audience. In 2007, Mr. Trump even held a press conference to minimize the damage to the pageant. Regardless of the judges vote, many say Trump gives final approval to the winner. Mr. Trump was not happy with the Mexican heckling in 2007. So what is Mexico's chances of winning in 2008?

I hate the new Miss universe crown. The design is very dull, looks like an ordinary crown worn by some cheap beauty contests in the province. Just like the crown of a carnival show or an ordinary Halloween costumes. I think the last crown by Mikimoto is more elegant compared to this, my phoenix signifies the power and superiority of the universe queen. The design of the new crown signifies no importance. So dull!!

^-^Why you do not see miss Korea(2008) National Costume.I think she looks similar with miss Japan(2006)more than miss Thailand(2008).

Thai national costume presents Muay Thai. It is the martial art of Thailand,well-known in the world. Muay Thai uses barehands for a weapon. I think it can show its culture and tradition very well.
