We all need to remember, it's not the name over our church door that will get us to heaven. There will be people from different churches in heaven. We might as well start getting along with them, now...We can worship together, each man how he sees fit...and we NEED to band together, to show Jesus to a world who doesn't know him. How can we battle Satan, if we are seperated?
Pentecostal born and raised. Funny video man. Laughed at the explaining it part. It seems like whenever you bring a friend to church there's always a revival or something lol. God bless brother. XD thanks for sharing
I am proud to say I am also Pentecostal, born and raised in Kampala, Uganda, East Africa and boy when it comes to Praise and Worship, other denominations aint got nothing on us, WE SHOUT AND PRAISE JESUS till we be sweating and crying, men its a good 2 hour session every Sunday, Glory Hallelujah, Glory Hallelujah, His truth is marching on
I use to pray that nothing would happen especially on sun. nites I always testify about that lol it seemed like no one ever ran, fell out, anything until I brought one of my friends to church. I'm 25 now and still living FULLY for the lord and LOVE HIM!
I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ nor am i ashamed of how we act in our church. you see what you get!!! lol i have brought friends to church who have gotten scared who took it as a joke but you know what they have always came back to visit the church or created a relationship with God on there own because of there experience there. I love my Apostolic Pentecostal ways, and I would not change it for the world!!!! God is Great!
i miss the old fashion holy roller churches. it seems everyone has lost the spirit of the holy ghost-or holy spirit which ever name you prefer.the old churches seem to be taken over by new younger ways of beliefs. what is happening in our churches?
That's funny. You gotta be some kinda country. It's the accent. There were some funny things, really funny things that happened in church. Some sound offended but they need to just laugh about it and blow it off.
Not everything that happened in church was spiritual and some things were just plain ignorant and some people were quite strange. But, I remember we had a lot of fun. We all told church jokes and laughed at ourselves and others. That part was healthy.
Great fretwork. I am Pentacoastal. Spirt filled since 1980. I know what you mean. I took my little neice to church and there is always that one church goer who is dancing and just drawing attention to themselves. Scared my little neice. Some over do it just a bit. I guess if you are loud, you will be loud after you are saved too. Our personality doesn't change. I am happy to find you. Love your story. Going looking for more. Have a wonderful day.
im penacostal and i understand wat umean by are worship is diffrent from everyone elses. im not ashamed tho i love my religon i wuldnt change it for the world.
Don't ever be ashamed of your upbringing, it is a great blessing to be raised in Pentecost and to know the Lord! I did have a bit of a chuckle though, because I do know what you mean about "explaining" our style of worship to our first time guests... But where the Lord is, there is liberty!
lol hahaha naah Bro. I grew up Pentecostal but in Dallas, TX I always have to prep people and explain, before the church explodes but your problem! haha is because yall were country! haha you dont see that in the city haha bless ya

Well, if you are going to be saved, it is good to be radically saved as Carmen says.
