why did they use a 4-door version and not a 2-door version? The ken block's fiesta is a 4-door version too, but the feature fiesta wrc will be a 2-door version, and so why did they and ken block use a 4-door version??

This car is not factory build by ford, its based on rallycross car and its built in sweden, by their private team. Cant wait next year if they come back more experienced. Just watch Gronholm in Rally Finland! Marcus is King of Rally Finland with Hannu Mikkola, Both have 7 wins in worlds fastest rally. Legendary Ouninpohja SS is even harder to drivers than pikes peak with countless blind corners, massive jumps and max average speed of 132km/h in 300hp wrc car!

I don't agree. Pikes Peak has massive cliffs that are thousands of feet high, with no guard rails. One wrong move and you are basically pronounced dead at the scene.

Yeah, nasty drops, but the WRC has much narrower roads, drops, ice, and snow with speeds of up to 125 mph and lots of trees and rocks to hit. Fortunately they have very good roll cages, they need them. For me and many others WRC is the ultimate motorsport. Hope you can get coverage stateside.
