Cedrus deodara is a very good landscaping choice, as you do not need to keep up with it until its roots' are established, as with all sorts of other trees. Also, where I live I planted one of these in hot, dry, windy, and sunny conditions, and I only applied a bit of root stimulator and barely prepared the soil for my Cedrus deodara. i have not alot of information but this tree origin is south and central asia himalya kashmir and northwest pakistan and afghanistan region this tree is famous for strongest wood n its beauty. in my village home we have 90 years old deodar wood {blocks} 4 years ago we makes some doors from one block and its still look like new.btw i love very much this tree and i just Grew this today.
