For those wondering, the school represent Alice's asylum. The other kids are her fellow mental patients, and the card with electric spears are really men in white coats with tasers to "calm down" any patient that goes to far.

Oh gosh... I never played this game and almost finished with madness returns so compared to that the graphics are shocking, even tho I know its over 10years old which makes it understandable. I just also find it a bit odd that the first "level" was in mines...

It's that bit just before you jump into the school that gets me, it looks like you only had to kill one of the banshee things but for some reason the second one refuses to die or the game randomly gives me the vorpal sword and I can't get the cards back making it just about impossible to kill the thing

Well what do you do if you miss the "Leap of Logic", i.e. miss jumping from the top of the castle wall into the skoolhouse window? What then?

I accidentally made Alice miss the jump. Whoops! :/ But she didn't die or even lose any Meta-essence. But I don't know how to get her into the skool, or at least back up atop the castle wall from which she fell. I've tried about every way that I can see, but they're all a no-go.

Help! :O hehe
