  • Do you have to fill out two sets of ATF paper work or is it one? (Considering the SBR plus suppressor)

    Thanks!

  • @seanxvw (1) Form 4 for the SBR & (1) Form 4 for the Suppressor.

  • @class3weapons Really? Even if the suppressor is the barrel, its still two different Tax Stamps?

  • @seanxvw Not if the suppressor IS the barrel. Which in this case it is not.

  • sounds like a airsoft gbb :D

  • I want that rail!!! does anyone know what it is?

  • @rdistefa

    POF USA

  • look like a comandow>>

  • 9mm & 40 currently. However .40's were only introduced this past February and probably will not be out til later this summer.

  • do they make them in .45?

  • Clean weapon and it fires pretty quietly too.

  • I've never even heard of this weapon but it look's and sounds awesome !!!!

  • Must be 147 Gr SS. What a beauty piece of kit. Thanks for sharing.

  • Hey how does this carbine compare to the CA94SD, i mean the HK MP5SD6? I would think that the blowback action on this would make it lowder compared to the roller locking on the mp5. but I would think the ar 9mm would be more accurate, but then again less reliable.

  • wow

  • sounds like WAM4 GBB hehehehe

  • You are talking out of your ass because that is the standard size for sights on any AR platform, you don't know shit dude.

  • I really think the Class 3 license Law is pretty stupid. Full Auto I can understand, but a 13" barrel isn't any less deadly than a 10" barrel.

  • The funny thing is SBR 5.56 IS less deadly than a standard 16" barrel. The bullet doesn't get up to speed as much, and the 5.56 round i dependent on speed to work.

  • Agreed. The velocity diminishes pretty quickly as barrel length decreases. Congress really needs to make laws based on logic and not ignorance.

  • @ PseudoScienceb20

ROFL like that will ever happen.

  • @MurderSoul216 FYI, look up some barrel length to 5.56 velocity tests online. You lose about 30fps per inch. An 556 SBR is just as deadly out to 300 yards as its 16"+ brethren.

@class3weapons Thanks for the cool vid!

  • @TheSid2

and a 16 inch barrel is meant for double that. try to hit anything at 7 or 8 hundred yards in anything but perfect condition with an sbr.

  • @Lonewolf6565 Do you even have a place you can practice 800 yd shots? Have you even seen how small a target is @800yds with irons? Magnified you're still not talking about "garanteed" hits @ 800.

  • @Daytonaman675

Indiana has lots of open spaces an i live less than 45 minutes from the only thousand yard range in the state.

  • @Lonewolf6565 If you practice there regularly I retract my statement. I know how good someone can get with regular practice (2-3 times a week).

  • Personally PseudoScience, I (and you)would be dead if someone shot us with EITHER barrel length (a 13" or 10")! So I see your point. But I guess our Gov't feels safer with the "barrel restrictions".If they looked at the #'s(which of course they won't), they would outlaw 18+" barrels, B4 they outlawed the "shorties". I guess they are more worried about CQ action in an urban enviroment, than they are about "sharpshooters from a distance". Guess they will always make random decisions.

  • @blazedawg1973 Yep, the govt' fears Urban CQB the most. Just look at Iraq. But, as usual, these restriction laws only hinder law abiding citizens. A criminal who really wants an SBR for nefarious purposes can easily purchase a 5.56 Pistol and install a stock.

  • @PseudoScienceb20

the idea is simply to track the numbers and make sure that the only ones who legaly want to get an sbr are people who are willing to go through the hastle and money needed to get one legaly. otherwise everyone would be running around with them. i myself dont see the need for any barrel to be shorter that 16 inches other than to be a novelty or just to look cool.

  • @PseudoScienceb20 No, but alot harder to conceal. You're more likely to do something illegal with a short barreled low profile weapon than a full size one.

  • What's the barrel length on that minus the suppressor? Nice setup. what ammo was that? Factory or reloads?

  • 5" bbl

    Sub-sonic, factory loads

  • Nice build! very quiet for a 9mm! Check my .45 cal .303 rebuild (fully suppressed.) Next - semi auto! :-)

  • We were using subsonic ammo. A while back I measured it with my chrony, but I forget what the fps was.

  • Very nice build! This would make a great home defense weapon as the suppressor would reduce the noise if shot inside and it wouldn't penetrate like a 5.56 round does. It's also short. I like this a lot! What are you getting for velocity on it?

  • Are you using subsonic's?cause its doesnt sound like it.

  • Read the thread for answers.

  • where can u get one?

    and whats the price

that things hella bad ass n fucking more quiet then my c02 gun

  • hope u havea c3 license

  • not yet but i will get one my frnd!

  • is that the predator rail system you have on this gun? also what length of a barrel do you have on it , im looking to build the same gun but only im putting a magpul ubr stock on mine and a red dot.

  • wow thats very quite actually!

  • That's nice. My friend Tom farts louder than that.

  • still looks like an m4 well almost

  • Silence is Golden'Golden but my eyes still see :).

What powder and primers are you using and how much powder?.

  • Are you shooting subsonic loads?

  • I believe during that session, yes.

  • thanks. I'm looking at purchasing the same RRA SBR. Does shooting the subsonic ammo void the warranty on the suppressor? Do you think there's any real potential to damamge the supressor by shooting high quality subsonic ammo through it? thanks

  • shooting subsonics do not damage a suppressor. All 9mm subsonics are is a heavier weight bullet. 147 grains to be exact.

  • i want one.

  • shit thats quiet!

  • Typically it's a 5" barrel.

  • Since we can't really see it under the handguards, how long is the barrel? What is the total length of the barrel and suppressor combined?

  • Must buy, SBR 9mm w/ gemtech suppressor... 5*s

  • Is that a question or a statement?

  • Are RRA 9mm pistols gas blowback like the colt 635 or are they still direct inpingment?

  • direct

  • No, blowback. The standard AR-15 is direct impingement. 9mm ARs are blowback.

  • ROCK RIVER!

  • )_) vera niceeee

  • lol sounds like a bb gun but could still kill me.

  • Thanks for the response.

Pretty darned quiet rig. Were you using subsonic 9mm ammo (presumably 147 gr)?

  • Yes. 9mm 147gr. SS

  • The barrel is 5"

  • Cool SBR.

I'm not familiar with that particular suppressor setup -- it hardly seems to protrude at all. How much actual "barrel" is left on that gun and how much is the suppressor?
