  • HI , I want to say this to all your viewers. Mre's are dangerous to our health if they clog you,I spent 100's of hours sitting on toilets from eating mre's , drink water alot if you still intent on eating them. Trying to survive is a matter of 1st commitment

This case freeze dried is the way to go, I dehydrated many of my foods before going away on 4wd trips or camping, the thing is the lack of intrest people understanding what they are buying in foods laced with bad preservatives ta

  • I have a question, i had these a while back and I would eat one every few weeks but my lips got severely chapped. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I would drink a lot of water that week before and after i ate it and it would not help.

  • @halofan343 I have not experienced this issue. You could be sensitive to one or more of the ingredients. It is really hard to say on this one. If you do find out let me know, it would be good to be able to inform others if they have the same problem.

  • @halofan343 I am alergic to celery, but I do not know if the MRE had any. I do remember they was jambalaya ham and shrimp and spaghetti.

  • man thats great stuff to eat i ate one every week there great.

  • sir you have done me a great service!!!! i went to the sight for the MRE company you were reviewing ..totally awsome a sampler is a week of food for just 25 bucks delevered!!!! you have made my day sir....great job!!!

  • The only bad thing about an MRE for "Survival" use, is that they do not have alot of carbs/calories. 1 Military issue MRE only has about 1200 calories for all that bulk packaging. I can get more for the space by using Tunafish mixed with EasyMac. I dunno what Long Life Foods crbs/calories are but would love to hear it.

  • Longlife foods has alot of different types of meals. Good store.

    John,

for those who may not know how to use the mre heater, do a review on that when you get time. Its not hard, but you cant overfill the heater either.

  • the heaters are like $15 for 10 or 12 probably 12 because thats how many come in a case. great review series.

  • 5* my friend

  • 5/5m8

  • Thanks for the information.

  • The website has the heaters. Its under emergency kits and combos.. 15 bucks for 12

    for anybody wondering

  • John - I really appreciate these videos and great resource links you are passing on . . . thanks!
