This is the 3rd IU video I've seen you comment on just hating on IU? Are purdue fans that bored that they have nothing better to do then to just hate on a program that will surely reign supreme in the upcoming years? Damn get a life.
@yankmykee Larry Bird was actually at IU first. He dropped out of IU because he wasn't ready for the size of the university. Later he enrolled at Indiana State and that's what he's known for, but he was a Hoosier first.
Coach Knight was the best thing to happen to College Basketball let alone I. U. basketball. Indiana wouldn't be known for basketball if it wasn't for him.... yeah and that Larry Bird guy...
ive lived in bloomington, indiana all my life and unless you have done the same. you dont know shit about indiana university! with the exception of a few people everyone in btown loved coach knight. and most people wished we had him back because he is still indiana even he wont admit it. graduating players and teaching them about life is the kind of coach he is and a few national championships to add to that. GO HOOSIERS!
"Davis's" Championship was with Knight recruits. You shot your own arguement. Davis proved he couldn't hold it together, and Sampson couldn't stay off the phone. They are and will remain the laughing stock of the big ten.
"THAT SCHOOL CONSISTS OF A BUNCH OF FLAMING LIBERAL HYPOCRITES! "
liberal hypocrites? Youve never been to or know anything about Indiana do you. IU didnt care because his players left there as College graduates and men.. Plus he was winning.
Yeah I do know about that school. It's freaking liberal as hell. Most of the faculty were VERY GLAD to see Bobby go! Many professors and faculty were being interviewed on CNN blasting Knight-- I will NEVER forget what that school did to him. Don't even challenge me. You will get owned.
He was still graduating players in 2000. He had a class coming in that he would have won another title with. He would have had Haston and Jeffries together for 2 years. The wanted him out...period. They finally brought in a coach based on character first, and not some Social experiment.
Things have really worked well since Myles Brand pulled the plug on him at IU. Since Knight's recruiting classes have vacated the place....they've done what? Gone through two more coaches and are now the laughing stock of the Big Ten?
laughing stock of the big ten? this year was the only year you could say that. seeing as nearly all their players were walkons this year, i think it's excused. iu has the 3rd most championships of all time behind only kentucky and ucla. get your facts straight. also, mike davis took IU to the championship game in 2002. starting around 94,95 no one wanted to play for knight, thats why the program went south. knight's a legend yeah, but he really didnt do anything after 93.
It's good to see Indiana playing better

Knight shoul dhave retired after the 1987 season. Most of the really stupid things he did that ruined his reputation happened after that.

Umm... the chair?
The choking of the foreign police officer?
The flower pot at the secretary?
