It's obvious that you know nothing about modifying the PlayStation Portable. What's the worst that could happen? You could brick your PSP, but there are universal unbrickers out that will solve that problem. You get to play the old classics on a portable device, maybe even a bit of homebrew if you're feeling up to it.
Only thing I don't like about CFW us the free games part. It's not that I dislike free stuff, but if everybody hacks his PSP, nobody would buy games anymore and eventually companies won't be able to produce games anymore cause of piracy.

So a few rogues got the know-how to get it for free and share the info , the sellers didn't lose profit they just didn't gain sale. Some people maybe shouldn't open their mouth when they know anything about emulators. They don't understand that it takes a lot more power than the original system to. Example: a SNES emu lags in most games on Dreamcast.
For any PSOne Emu, the first benchmark should be Ridge Racer! It's a small ISO (Around 19MB without ICE) and everyone knows how well it runs under normal play.
Personally I think this guy is playing back a modified AVI as something this big would have been leaked by now. Also noticed apart from speed it was a perfect emulation, quite rare not to see artifacts in such a new emu. No emu config screen shown either. Time for a PS3 Emu on the PSP :)
