It's unfortunate that the ropes don't allow the rubber bands to do any stretching, at first I though you were going to make it is such a way like as when hammock are woven so you'd have all of the spring and fleck of a normal hammock, but having the ropes vertically run through is what gives you support and the rubber bands keep the rope in place and "contain" you. Mad props to the effort and time it clearly took though.
