  • your losing pressure from the pump by using the video card config i would just go one tube .... more efficient

  • @George241312

    ya ok.......

  • @0leitejesse I'll agree with George, one sli fitting should be better, but to each his own...

  • uhh

  • LOOOOOL he got xms3 and calls it dominator!

  • @blazeitup94

    oops your right.

  • not hating but ho need 3 580´s 1 will run anything :)

  • @Runetone

    no but almost

  • @Runetone No reason not to get 3 580 if you have the money to spare.

  • @darkgodmaster You need to be a PC enthusiast to get 3 580´s.

You can build a decent gaming pc for the price of 2 580´s :)

  • dude why the fuck would u have an amd set up wit 2 gtx 580

u make me angry very angry

  • so are u left handed

  • thank you!

you should know i have abandoned the Hydra chip and now use Hyper SLI (you can Google it) its much better. the hydra keeps you waiting on drivers for the new games

    i don't benchmark sorry

  • Very interesting build. I´m planning to run two Nvidia cards on my Crosshair IV too, and I would really love to see some benchmark scores of your system....if possible.

By the way, we share a lot of components, Corsair obsidian 800d is my case too, we have the same psu and also my radiator is cooled by the Feser Triebwerk fans.

    Thumbs up and many greetings.

  • Time to upgrade to a 990FX motherboard and take advantage of SLI :)

  • @Amrut223

I use Hyper SLI works perrfect

  • Very nice job bro. I'm using an entire Koolance in my Intel system. The ERM-3K3U. Very massive cooling system but very efficient and quiet. Fans running at 20% and my i7 2600k temps idel at 14.6 C and when I over clock it to 4.8 ghz, my temps move up to 24 to 26 C. Very amazing but very expensive. My two EVGA GTX-580 855mhz Classified Hydro cards at 23.2 C. You have a nice setup there bro. I too use a flow meter and additional temp sensors for the liquid entering and leaving the cooler.

  • can it run tetris?

  • @paulSAYERable

oh not Tetris, maybe when i upgrade ;)

  • Sorry for the delay! I would love to see your system once you get it done!!!

I now have 3 gtx580’s and wont be upgrading until Jan 2012.

  • The fx 8150 just came out are you upgrading again. I am upgrading my whole system, the cm storm trooper case just came out.

    Downtown SF 31st floor :)

  • euh euh ... euh .. euhhh.. euhhh.euhh Hahaha :D nice pc man where u live ? seems like high in the sky lol.

  • are you using the swiftech 655 pump? what kind of fittings are you using on the 1/2" OD tubing?

  • @msibayan407

correct on the pump, I am using 3/8" tubing with 1/2" diameter. the pump is on #2.5 setting (very low as 5 is high)

  • @nooblady2310

I'm not sure upgrading from IV to IV extreme is worth it. unless you plan to use the Hydra chip to run duel card mode….don't get me wrong I love the board but Lucid Hydra is not upgrading there drivers often enough. If I were to do it again I would use the SLI hack driver….I know I know someone is going to say "you could use that now" but the fact is I would have to disassemble and move card two to pci-3 and that’s a pain.

  • No not "SLI" unless you use the SLI hack.

I use the Lucid Hydra chip on the board, I can you any combination of cards.

    Nvidia + Nvidia = Yes

    ATI + ATI = Yes

    Nvidia + ATI = yes

  • can SLI on crosshair IV formula??

  • After this, do you have money to spend on your girlfriend?

  • @wesKokigen I heard he spends it on yours!!!

  • @wesKokigen

    no...lol.

  • impressive setup!

    Shawn2146

  • "SLI" technically is only for Nvidia chipset so no it doesn’t work….well unless you were to use the SLI Hack (you can download that)

this mother board has the Lucid Hydra chip that is similar to SLI and Crossfire. you can use any combination of video cards, and although I'm averaging 5% lower FPS its worth it to be able to use a top notch MB with NVIDIA video cards.

  • the cheapset work on sli?

  • Great job. Love your setup.

  • @azrebels

    Thank you.

  • this is nice rig mate should have look at mine and u should sleve the cables clean it up a bit and heat goes up so all in well done mate

  • @podp29

Thank you, i may sleeve the cables...

  • Really nice PSU, are you going to sleeve the cables?

  • @BenHanna7

    im on the fence.....i may.

  • @0leitejesse I think it could finish the rig off nicely, but it's many hours, I want to sleeve mine psu but it's an HX1000 so I would void the warranty. You however have all modular cables, if you mess one up just get another from corsair! :D

  • It makes sense that running the pump backwards makes the cards run cooler because otherwise you're forcing the heat to come down, and as we all know heat rises. Very nice build. Mines similar but much cheaper (because im 16 and i work at McDicks)

  • The only thing running Parallel cooling will do is keep your cards within a few C of each other. Overall the cooling won't drop much. But the reverse flow for me has also dropped temps as you can see in my videos.

  • You sound like a fat nerd.

  • @R4Zy3L

    Kool!

thats what i was going for!

  • great built nice and clean well done

  • @saifamin76

    thank you!

  • Malack: pretty wicked Jesse*, the audio channel selector is really wicked. NOte* we got the same mouse :D

  • It's nice setup for sure, I love the idea of the AMD CPU and the Nvidia GPU , Nice combo

  • @keiki646

    Agreed, thank you!

  • yea i use Hwmonitor for my computer temps. best program for temps id say

  • awesome hardware.

  • @Zacharypwns

    Thank you!
