I have to tell you this ...went to see BC about 1980 at a big concert hall on Union St ,Aberdeen - maybe no longer open and... he was absolutely brilliant ..at the height of the night I was literally on my knees and the whole audience was in a surreal uproar of uncontrolled laughter .

Ever since it's all been downhill.

The last time I saw Billy live was around 1995, he was on stage nearly three hours, and everyone who left that theater was in physical pain from convulsing with laughter for so long. As funny as Billy is on television, there's nothing like seeing him live.

I work with a guy who used to own a sports shop in my city.

He said he would often encountered Billy when he was on tour, said he was the most polite, quiet and reserved gentleman he had ever served.
