@jasmin3cutie You die because when Sofia stops Elanor's heart for that BRIEF second, it severs the pair bond that drove Delta throughout the game. Once Sofia did that, it doesnt matter what happens, even if Sofia took it back, Delta is still going to die.

BShock 1 had one brilliant plottwist, but otherwise it was largely about mad irredeemable monster bosses and comic book villains with god complexes. I much preferred the human tragedies in BShock 2 that kept tucking on your heartstrings throughout the game. I didn't even know about the viral website but I was completely out of it when I heard Meltzer's last diary. Maybe I should've seen it coming from a mile away, but that was unbelievably heavy for me.

@krookyjj If I remember correctly, Lamb suffocated Eleanor long enough for the bond between her and Delta to be severed, meaning Delta was going to shut down (Die) soon. The explosives going off beside him didn't help much.

if your talking about when eleanor says that you, the big daddy will be whispering advice and guidance from her shoulder, i think its trying to symbolize how you have always carried eleanor over YOUR shoulder (when she was little) and how the role reversal still allows you to still watch over eleanor. at least thats what I think :)

@97robe Because when she stuck that needle into Delta, she extracted ADAM from him and with it, the "essence" of who Delta was (his memories, his conscience etc.). Considering her abilities (after all, she was meant by Sofia Lamb to absorb all of what is human and be a mastermind of sorts), I guess she was able to "hear" Delta in her mind.

@97robe what this means is that you are literally sharing her body with her. notice how in this ending she examines her hands as if they were new? its a subconcious reaction, Alpha will have slight impacts on her movement and thoughts yet don't expect to hear his voice come out. She most likely has a majority control.
