It has virtually no offroad intention or capability, comparing it to a xterra maybe cuz they are after the same audience, however it also lacks in every way like the pathfinder. no matter how many toys the new vehicles have to go offroad you cant get serious with them because they are very cheaply made and arent as well built on the outside than the old cars think about itim right i can go offroading in a 1960 beetle and not destroy anything but taking a toytoa rav 4 offroad getting doing the same as the beetle will wreck it even a land rover cannot be be beaten off road my dad has a range rover and broke the rear diff going offroad just crawling over rocks
um if your a 4runner owner you can open the hood and under my hood it says "light duty truck" now i can say "i have a big truck"mine is a 2002 i dont know about the new ones though.

Second its a 4.0L engine not a 4.6? Get a better tester as well, then you could have mentioned other cool features such a KDSS
Actually the party mode does boost the bass in the front speakers. What it does is turns off the speakers in the 2nd row and amplifies the front and tailgate speakers. It is intended to be used for tailgating/camping and just in general for listening to music while outside the vehicle.
I have a 2011 4runner SR5 4x4 and love it. Traded in my 2009 Tacoma 4x4 double cab sport for it tho =/ Have to make room for another kid on the way lol

@DragonsKing91 Right the V8 for the 4Runner was discontinued in attempt to improve fuel economy, and the 4.0 loter produces 10 more horse then the previous v8. Also it has been around forever, the FJCruser and Tacoma shares it.
Looks like you need a little education on driving "offroad" - Here in Colorado we need to stay ON the designated trails or roads - and don't just drive wherever we want - off a marked trail or road. Please educate yourself on proper OHV use

i like american cars (some)....but i gotta disagree...i sat in both GM and Toyota cars and in the same class...toyota wins...the fit an finish is nice....and wen i mean class....tahoe vs sequoia...camry vs malibu...lexus vs cadillac....
I have a 07' limited V8 model,its horrible on gas!Good on Toyota for sticking to the 4.0 only and making it more robust and mileage friendly.
