I put this excellent version of I've Had the Time of My Life to mi little daughter of 6 y.o. and explained to her that this was the original version I heard when I was a teen, that I watched the movie and that this is really a moving song from the 80's but she just stared to me and said "but i like much better the Black Eyed Peas song. This sounds sooo oold".

Lesson learned: each generation will choose the classics of their time we like it or not !!
