i consider myself to be a skilled healer and if ive noticed one thing about ulduar its that you cant do enough over healing theres so much aoe dmg on the raid and are best geared tanks are getting 2 shoted at the best of times and this video is from when the bugs for this fight wernt fixed im amazed they downed it nice vid gd job guys

Worked on him last night, did not too well. He'd either kill me after getting a couple golems up (first time in LK that I've felt undergeared) or the golems would tear up their tank while sitting in the Scorch.

Also, the Molten Ragers in his room suck.

You're not undergeared. There was a bug with brittle that did not remove the buff stacks and Ignis was one shotting tanks because of it.

Overheals? You obviously havn't done the encounter. He hits for 20k on a well geared tank. Every one of those Constructs make him do 15% more, ontop of that, he gets hit with Scortch which does 6k in 3 seconds ontop of the 4k it hits you for. Then you have to worry about Flamejets which hit everyone for 5k then 1k/second. Ontop of the fact that every few someone is in that pot taking 35k damage over 10 seconds. Overhealing? Your tank isn't 100% enough to overheal shit.

Serious tough guy is serious. The fight isn't bad, but the tank/raid gets wrecked nonstop, no one is sitting there worrying about overhealing once every 4-5 heals. Point being, no one cares about your shenanigans. :S

Casting bar is Quartz, Scrolling Combat Text is my guess for the other. I use Mik's Scrolling Battle Text though, less spam as it combines your AoE abilities and is more user friendly.

The current best way to do this fight is to ignore the gimmick with the adds completely and just have an off-tank kite them.

I would say this is the best video for this boss.

It almost showed all possible situation that you may encounter during this fight.

1. How to tank and move (For MT)

2. How to drag the adds and hold in the burning area (For Off Tank)

3. Healer got interrupted (For healer)

4. Druid helped to root the adds in the burning area (For classes with CC ability)

5. DD helped to kill adds in water pool (For DD)

6. Off Tank / healer may die or get carried by the boss, adds may running all around

The adds do get killed actually, but not in the traditional sense. When the adds stand in a column of fire, they get a buff that basically makes them stronger. After 20 stacks of this buff, the Golem becomes molten and when kited into the pool of water at the side, they get stunned for 15 seconds, has an increased chance to be crit and dies instantly if hit by a single attack that does at least 5000 damage.
