  • Stop blaming each other and place the blame on the system that was broken in 1913 and has deteriorated ever since. The people we have elected on both sides are drunk on the power the income tax has provided them. It is time they sobered up! Repeal the 16th amendment, let the states collect income tax as they see fit and restore the free enterprise system. It is as simple as refusing to let socialism happen before your eyes. Do nothing and you will have it!

  • The power needs to revert to the states!! The power needs to be closer to the people!! The right to directly tax the people has corrupted the lawmakers. The 16th amendment is the problem, the Fed is the problem and you are the solution. It is time to march on Washington! It is time to peacefully protest! It is time for a modern day Hooverville! Stand behind any state that reclaims its sovereignty, encourage them to refuse federal funding.

  • This is not about Republicans or Democrats, this is about us! Spending regardless of who is in power is enslaving our children and dramatically impairing our quality of life. This is going to get worse!!!! You dont payoff a credit card with another credit card. You dont double the money supply without a damaging rate of inflation. You dont devalue the dollar and hold respect in the world wide community. These are fundamental principals any high school student should understand.

  • With all due respect to Cong Cantor, where was he the last 8 years.

  • Most conservatives I spoke with had a major problem with how much was being spent by the Bush Administration, but as has been said before, nothing compares to how much is being spent by this administration. With the jobless rate being higher than I've ever seen in my lifetime, I'd say it's a pretty good deal to cut as much spending as possible on useless BS.

  • I have no problem with cutting spending. Don't get me wrong on that one lol. Oh I'd LOVE if they'd honestly cut spending. My issue is, it's always a bunch of finger pointing and two faced lies. Politicians would eat their own young for a dollar, and trust me, the reason for this video isn't because they care about me or my wife and children. It's about demonizing their enemies. It's about special interests. It's about lobbyists and big business. It's not about the American people at all.

  • It's about padding their own pockets as fast as they possibly can. It's about looking out for their buddy from the country club or their cousins or nephews. It's about the rich staying rich. Any one of these guys in this video would LOVE to have their hands on the U.S. checkbook. Personally I'm tired of being squeezed and played like a tennis ball. Back and forth...baaaack and forth. I'm not alone.

  • It's that whole 'good cop bad cop' routine. "Oh heeeey guys...yeah we're on YOUR side..."

5 years ago these same people and their "base" called people who questioned anything about the Bush admin UNPATRIOTIC (remember that?)...but now have no problem yelling "SOCIALISM!!" from the highest mountain about this administration. It's all a sham.

Dems and Repugs all laugh when the doors are closed about how many poor people they ripped off today while smoking huge cigars and sipping fine brandy.

  • Thank you for posting this - I called Rep Lipinski's office as he is my Rep unfortunately and got a moron intern who didn't understand that creating Government jobs doesn't increase the Revenue to the Government it depletes and only the private sector can create jobs to replenish the Gov - you know what this moron said the private sector can't create jobs. I called and told her I didn't want anymore spending period and to stop acting like little kids & Grow up & do your jobs stop playing games.

  • Is the problem that your voice isn't being heard, or that it is and you're upset that it isn't being listened to? Are you saying anything new? What are the proposed amendments and are they designed to help the American people or just to block any effort from the Dems simply because they proposed it?

    I'm trying to understand here...

  • Democrats created a rule that all amendments (congressman's voice on the floor about a bill) were to be printed before filed by Tuesday at midnight. Republicans filed 127 or so amendments. Then the democrats went through and picked out the few they felt ok voting on and called the bill bipartisan. FYI

  • These people make me sick vote them all out. If they spend one more dime - forget it. We don't need any GOV involvement in health care - I like that co-op bill where there is no invasive hand of Uncle Sam involved - they don't need to see our medical records either - it is none of their business - or we will end up with a committee like NICE and they will decide what medicine you deserve and who should live or die.

  • Thanks for the info, it really was helpful in trying to understand this.

So when was the rule created and how long did it take to print and file the 127 amendments? Are we talking a time-management thing here? Did they file the 127 amendments at the last possible moment and expect them all to be read and examined - because if that's the case, the GOP can't call foul.

  • Keep up the good work Eric!
