  • If your ears are good enough to hear the differance between these presented, and a decent 5 to 10k system, you could rent your ears out for 100,000.00 K a month.

  • ok let's say you buy an amp for say £5000 and speakers for £5000 and a cd player and controller / pre amp for £5000 and a record player for £2000 and cables for £1000 so you spend £15000 to £20000 on a system which is still a huge sum of money. Can really, really, honestly tell me that you are going to hear that much of a difference £80000 difference no way in my opinion. You can buy a pair of B&W Nautilus and they are amazing a good valve amp and hay presto an amazing system.

  • I would like an itemized list of parts and the cost of the parts and an explaination of why these are so expensive!

  • i just to have all these ... then took an arrow to te knee

  • if sony/yamaha/or Onkoyo just made a single stereo amplifier it would be at least $1,000,000 for that unit. Economy of scale. They are not making millions units of class A amps because there

's no demand for them, thus easier to market them as expensive amps.

  • or spend 2k and buy an amp that has more power handling

  • asi les fue con la economia manga de ignorantes los que pagan por esta basura!!!!

  • i use my hand made transistor amp, best sound in just 600$ :)

  • I got a 99.5% matched quad of RCA black plate 12ax7's made in 1955.

  • When my grandma first heared a radio, she thought there's a tiny human living in that box. 30's AM radio broadcast and a single shitty driver was enough to fool a TRULY unbiased person. $100,000 for an amp to hear realism in music is just stupid.

  • Psychoacoutical insanity!! What a colossal waste of money chasing(hearing?) phantom windmills!!!

  • @DOLEWDREW IF I HAD THE MONEY i would rather spend it on one of these than a 100.000 usd ming vase or a stupid diamond ring or something even more useless...

  • All of those amps better come with an S-Class Mercedes and a naked hot chick!!

  • I can't think of any piece of music I would pay that much to hear.

  • high end audio is one of the priciest scam hobbies going. Most people I've met at these high end listening rooms can't tell the difference between vastly different sources, yet spend tens of thousands on "directional matrix silver" wires and other ridiculous shit. Some of it is great. Most is not.

  • This is why we don't need to raise taxes on the Rich. We just need to get them to buy more stuff like this. The last amp, in my state, they would pay $48,000 just in sales tax lol. Govt gets money, they get taxed less, everyones happy lol.

That is crazy...I could build a incredible system just off the amount of sales tax on that amp lol.

  • You should be able to amplify your fart by plugging then into your ass hole for that price.

  • The best part is that I don't have to worry about what amplifiers to use with my system. I have 4 discrete amplifier modules with my two speakers (bi-amped active monitors: youtube.com/watch?v=WuoRXKLKshQ). My system is not high end, but for the money, probably the best you can get. And NO speaker cables!

  • @1313EbutUoy You're an idiot

  • i'd love to plug them in 220 volts!

  • the funniest thing is most cinema's these days aren't even using stuff this high end... these are tube amplifiers... the best sound on earth... you would think cinema's these days would go for the best... not some digital circuit board crap that processes digital to analog in a butchered conversion process

  • @tigerwhite007 At least half those amplifiers were solid state. Valves aren't always the answer but certainly have their place.

  • HAHAHAH!!!!!! SO STUPID!

  • The main question remains: Will it blend?

  • Money doesn't buy brains. Most of the people buying this stuff wouldn't have a clue on matching their gear with their interior design, essentially wasting the whole SQ benefits of spending over a grand on a fucking home amp...

  • I dare Daniel Tosh to buy one of these and blow it up. :DD

  • man, i rather buy the roll-Royce phantom

  • I am one of only a extremely few number of people who have had the privilege of listening to a £450,000 home speaker arrangement. I can HONESTLY say, I've heard £20,000 systems that are better.

  • Beleza! Agora eu vou ouvir um cd de Luan Santana num destes amplificadores, quem sabe a voz dele melhora!

  • MY NEIGIBBORS BROTHER INLAWS BABY COUSINS AUNTS DIALYSIS TECHNICIANS SCHWANS DELIVERY GUYS FRIEND HAS 6 OF THESE HOOKED UP TO 8 15S IN THE BACK OF HIS ECSCALADE. SOUNDS LIKE ass

  • Yeah my japan made receiver sounds awsome.. It features thx select. Oh la la.

  • i heard the krell at ces and they blew my mind but i cant afford them

  • my iphone speakers sound better :P

  • Comment removed

  • But will it blend?

  • I stopped buying audio components in the mid 80s. Any amp over a grand is a waste of money unless maybe you buy four of them and biamp your speakers. Once I build my own Dynaudio woofer system with Scan tweeter and midbass by 1988 I never spent anything else except for LPs, and later vintage LPs.

  • @TVGuido yeah, I'm kind of partial to the Crest 10001 (stereo amp) -this incredible amp uses two power cords (one per channel) and can draw up to 72 amps of wall current, as you can imagine its essentially 2 seperate amps in one chassis however what sets this 140 lb amp apart from others is that its power rating specs start at 2 ohms (unlike the typical 8 ohms), in 1 ohm stereo ( basically a dead short) it will deliever 5000 watts at 20-20khz with considerably less then .1% thd.

  • What a rip off. I bet a $10,000 amp souns every bit as good. Save the rest for a house and a car. Super high end audio is all bullshit.

  • WHOO! Sounds like a Behringer 2500, but just 40,000X more expensive! & no I'm not mocking Behringer. Some of their amps R every bit as good as the real expensive stuff, & sometimes even better! =D High end audio is a scam. It's about robbing people with lies, &/or impressing people with how much $ U R willing 2 FLUSH DOWN THE TOILET on arty bits 2 yak about (conversation topics, 'please fuk me' monuments, etc.)

In fact, most of this stuff sounds bad (harsh, mushy, etc.)

  • KK i really support expensive turntables, and speaker but tube amplifiers for 400K .... maybe if it is ULTRA hi tech digital equipment fine... but come on 400 THOUSAND dollars for tube amps... Not even if they are made out of SOLID GOLD would they cost 400K... I would love to see the inside of those tube amps .... see exactly what 400K dollars can buy in basic electric equipment.... For sure must be some nice shit ....

  • Not expensive enough ! You can do more !

  • You would be amazed how many people pay big dollars for audio.....

  • Nobody pays for this stuff. Anyone can make something and put a crazy price on it. How many do you think will sell.

  • The manufacturers use 24K gold to make their products expensive LOL... = = Why don't you make a 24K gold Lenovo computer and sell it for a few hundred thousand bucks?

  • the whole point that someone put this on youtube is cool,I dig it.

  • If I had the money I would spend an extra 75,000 on all van den hul cable. I guess If they had an EQ that lit up with pretty colors AntDX316 and coolferds06 might like them.

  • Amazing how the websites for the most expensive audio equipment in the world look like they were made in 1995. Probably they were and didn't bother updating it except for the pictures. Honestly the room scenes of these expensive equipment don't look that good. Very basic and cheap looking though the price of each individual part of the room must cost at least $1000.

  • how same guy have al the luck in the world...the can only buy cheap audio junk

because no cash and they can hear not the differents in sound....high-or low end.

if only I be that happy....

  • what s the point? the sound they make will be no different to the human ear to any other amp on the market (with the odd exception :) ) but in my eyes a speakers is the main importance, a high quality amp don't get me wrong, but thats just stupid! and they look ugly

  • 600 thousand dollars, are you kidding. my 400 dollars onkyo 608 can beat all of these super over price stuffs, its a junk.

  • @coolferds06 Yeah, it goes to a point where money becomes meaningless. Look at mid 6 figure to mid 7 figure dollar cars. They don't even have navigation or other electronics to display and those cars are brand new.

  • I use a LEAK STEREO 20 and I sleep like a baby. :)

  • It all come down to what you percieve as value for money, if your Bill gates or any others like him. Then this is pocket change and probably worth the cash. Who's to say what vfm and whats not! If you won the lottery tomorrow I bet most would buy a few very expencive cars which lose money instantly in most cases.

  • i think that it gets to the point where you have to wonder if a 600 000 dollar amp really sounds that much better than a 2000 dollar amp

  • I use a 14-year old used Denon PMA S1integrated that received numerous component upgrades for the first owner. I paid $1800 on audiogon for it about four years ago. Its sound is incredible. NO ONE needs to spend more than about $5k USD on amps. Look around at used stuff. There are diamonds to be had. Don't fall for the megabuck nonsense. And don't spend more than $20 on speaker wire or $200 on interconnects.

  • If you want good, true HiFui quality without remorgaging your house then buy NAD, Denon, Marantz or Vincent. Best quality available for that price. If you want to spend more buy McIntosh, Luxman, Pass or Mark Levinson. Anything that costs more is technically maybe even better but you won't be able to hear the difference trust me.

And don't be fooled into buying brand cables, nomatter what you read $20.000 dollar cables are a waste of money. Any thick strand of high purity copper will suffice.

  • @haaxeboys Yeah, I saw a Pass FIRST WATT amp second hand on ebay for about 500 usd in perfect condition, on;ly a couple of years old. With some small fullrange speakers like Tang Ban or Fostex and a simple crossover and some Foundtek ribbon tweeters and you are seriously flying! this would be a killer set up. Don't kid yourself, these megadollar amps are complex as all fuck, the isgnal gets mangled. Simple circuits like Pass rule!

  • @dogkok12 I'm completely with you. Allthough I prefer a good 3-way over single driver setups, they just lack a bit "completeness" for my taste especcially in the lower regions and the ultrahighs. I myself use a Mitsubishi/Diatone separate pre- and poweramp (pure class-A) from the late 70s with a pair of secondhand B&W DM220's and a Meridian DAC connected to my pc to play FLAC's and CD's. Cost me a total of €350 and the sounds is unbeatable at that price, even if the source (PC) isn't perfect.

  • @haaxeboys Sounds cool. I think i know the amp you have, To be honest the only amp here that excites me is the wavac - A simple single ended circuit with grunt. The power supply is insanely over the top. The rest of these amplifiers leave me cold. I had a 5K power amp, y'know, the kind you can weld with, and I got rid of it.My ancient 10 watt tube amp wipes it. Simple Class A is the way to go. As much power as you need and no more. Power equals complexity in the circuit which kills the music.

  • Whats the song? I love it!

BTW I own a set of B&W's with a very decent Technics 90Wpc amp. I've heard lots of sets that cost upwards to $150.000 with my own favourite CD's and yes they sound better. But suprisingly marginally. Trust me more does sound better but not nearly as much better as to be worth paying a half million for your set. This is just proving you have a small dick, with audio.

I just heard a set of $25.000 Ushers today and I was surprised how high and artificial they sounded.

  • the price says nothing about quality. imagine, if i will try to sell crap 5W amp (~0,5USD) in a glossy &sleek look box would anyone buy it for 340'000.00$?.....

  • If I'm a very wealthy person, I wouldn't buy any of those. I'll buy a 2nd hand ferrari.

  • for this budget you can have a Nexo line array system, with more than 10 k of watts for a stadium.

  • As seriously good as these amps are, how many peoples' ears can really discern the difference between these and those that cost... well... a fraction of the cost? I mean, yes, you can certainly hear the difference between an iPod, a CD, and yes, probably vinyl too but at these prices, you need the amp to deconstruct a bit rate of -0.000001 and make it sound like the London Philharmonic are placed at various distances around you and hear their pants squeak. Audiophiles, eh? :D

  • please add other most expensive Hi-end components like speakers, digital sources, cables THX ;)

  • Considering Goldmund was caught using the circuit boards from an $80 Pioneer DVD player in their like $9000 disc player, I'm guessing these $100,000+ amps use like multiple bridged amps from a $200 Pioneer A/V receiver?

While I love super-high end audio, I think using your money to buy Goldmund would be equivalent to using your money to wipe your ass.

  • @falkenlaser

Or buying Bose.. but that would be like giving money to a bunch of money hungry assholes that don't care what they sell, as long as they make a profit.

Sorry, went off a bit there. LOL

  • The fact, these amplifiers are really very good masterpieces.

  • they better be putin out 500000 watts for how much that costs

  • @Fresh2DEF1995 Well the Goldmund has has a peakpower of 10.000 Watts and a continuous outputt of 6000 Watts with 0,0001% distortion. It can output from 0 to 200 ampere in one nanosecond. Is that enough for you?

  • 4 that money u can buy your own orchestra

  • @bfnflavius

    LMAO, that is actually TRUE...

HAHAHA, I never looked at it like that before. People take audio reproduction to such an extreme that they could actually have a band or whatever they want play for them several times instead of listening to them play.

... and then still have money for not-so-expensive amplifiers :D

  • The orchestra plays like s..... Out of tune, not together, AND too slow.

  • all of these must be available only in saudi arabia and 4 o 5 other places around the world... jajajjaajajjajajajaja

  • Expensive does'nt really mean better or best.

  • whyyyyy?

  • Damn! It would be fun to blow up one if them!

  • @mullhull ...lol
