But the Virus Bomb was a bomb that the great villain of the warhammer universe used to destroy a planet, killing half his own men along with the populace whom he deemed to be traitors. It was said to burn the very air, hence this songs chorus.

I think (but I'm not as sure) that Sanction Extremis is also a reference to 40k, since that's a name thats been referenced in various books and lore.

There is such thing as melodic death metal... Not all of it is "thrashing away" like far too many people think, unfortunately. BLACK metal at first will seem less melodic, but again, there is more melodic black metal out there.

Anaal Nathrakh is basically black metal with industrial elements and occasionally incorporating some death metal and even grindcore elements. There really isn't anybody quiet like this band! \m/

Anaal Nakthrah, also meaning "Serpant's Breath" IS a Grindcore, Black Metal, Death Metal mix, also known as now a days Black Grinding Death Metal. Yes, it's set up that brutally, and racistly. As the band progressed, yes in fact they did become more brutal, as Earache Records took over them, they became completely insane. In the early metal days, Black metal and Death metal weren't to diffrent from each other, it is now on the later days they have parted a bit from each other. Pure Death metal and Pure Black metal are still very alike.

But Grindcore is a further development of Death metal and I therefore think that it is not more alike Black metal.

But it's still a very darn great mix, black and grindcore <3 But Grindcore mix very well with Death metal aswell, just take a look at Benighted. <3
