Better yet, let's have the studio recording this formidable duo recorded outside of the Eastern Bloc of the same cycle - it's one thing to hear a live performance (and most certainly this is amply worth it! However, I'd like to be able to compare it with the definitive recording they later made... PLEASE...

Thank you for posting, it is really exciting. By the way, there was another recording of Songs and Dances of Death with Vishnevskaya accompanied on piano by Rostropovich. Could anybody load it?
