People joke around allot about impact "DOT MATRIX" printers, but there are still many applications for them. Receipts, extra-large documents, & anything requiring a carbon copy. The only kind of copy recognized by the court of law other than a very expensive water mark. Plus, get ridiculous amount of prints vs. ink jet.

I doubt it very seriously, since it doesn't synch up consistantly. Even so, I've owned dot matrix printers before and I know that they make some truly dreadful sounds... and for loooooong periods of time. Two minutes for a single page is actually good speed for those damnable things.
I remember when this was High Tech. (Thats a poor impression of the sound though, it was far more mechanical and about as annoying that impression you tried to make.)
I used to have one like that (an Okidata model actually) and it actually sounded even worse than this. No man made sound can ever be worse than a DM Printer.
