  • I LOVE sam!!! ''I'm coming with you!!!!"

  • sam delivers a speech to Frodo at the end of every movie. And kills it every time he's the best character

  • Goosebumps....Brrrrrrrr...

  • I die a little every time I see this scene.

And then I see Frodo's hand and my heart is restored.

  • cry evr time,,, :')

  • So Sam is called Samwise Gamyi in Spain and Mexico...hmm...

  • @somethinglacking1 Not really. In fact Samwise is the original name in English. In Spain his name is Samsagaz Gamyi (in Spanish sagaz = listo/inteligente, that's wise on English).

  • cry every single time :'(

  • I Watched this movie maybe 500 times but these scene is the best i always get some feeling for crying

  • 3 people would leave Sam to die.

  • Bahh i thought that it would be a funny video xD i'm dissapointed x)

  • I'm pretty sure most people think Gandalf's death was the most powerful scene of this movie... But this is the scene that makes me want to burst into tears. "Don't you leave him, Samwise Gamgee..." GAAAHHH. <3 :')

  • its funny that frodo thought it a better idea to trust a demented cave dwelling monster over sam, that's some poor judgement if i've ever seen it

  • @frizzletot Yes, but doesn't the ring kind of have an influence on Frodo? The ring wants to be found, so doesn't it have an influence on how Frodo thinks? I would imagine the ring knows Gollum is a better choice than Sam because Sam is out to destroy the ring, while Gollum does not.

  • I 'Promise'... ;)

  • 1:15 A PWOMMIS mr Frodo. A PWHOMMISS

  • Peter Jackson, Howard shore , and many many other wonderful people joined forces and put together the most beautiful scene in a movie ever. Well done. Makes me cry every single time. :)

  • the song

    the phrase

    the enviroment

    EPIC

  • Sam's like a really loyal, adorable, cooking puppy. He's AWESOME!

  • He made the promise to Gandalf right? Boy is his face going to be red when he realizes Gandalf wasn't even dead lol. But really touching scene. Damn watery eyes!

  • @mugatu5000 He made the promise to the elves, its in the book but not in the movies

  • We had to watch this movie in school... I cried in this scene and spent a half hour on google trying to find this video. Sam is amazing <33

  • Sam is the definition of a best friend ಥ_ಥ

  • *MANLY TEARS*

  • Love it so much... Thanks for posting!!

  • If the world was fille with Sam's and not Frodo's, it's be a much happier place.

    Sam is the true hero.

  • This is what an epic is. This is what emotion is. This is what a truly great legend is. If I could, I would strap every obsessive twilight fangirl into one of those chairs from A Clockwork Orange and force feed all three extended versions of LOTR into their brains.

  • I'm watching the dvd now and I just decided to Google "don't you leave him Samwise Gamgee" and then I found this video. I may be a 24 year old man, but this stuff still brings a tear to my eye. True friendship is a powerful thing.

  • I find this scene beautiful.

  • No words enough to describe what i feel, well, the last thign i can do you to subscribe!!!

  • tehe... this scene always makes me crack up. sorry.

  • No better display of friendship than Samwise Gamgee.

    'I'm going to Mordor alone'

'I know, and I'm coming with you.'

    So simple, yet so powerful.

  • this scene made me cry

  • 0 dislikes

  • this has always been 1 of my favourite scenes

    makes me cry everytime

  • What an amazing scene. The whole breaking of the fellowship scene of this movie is incredible.

  • ewww pause at 1:08 XP

  • @MsSophia1999 immature dick

  • "Don't you leave him Samwise Gamgee". And I don't mean to. I don't mean to"

And then that great song...this is what can make the most serious man in the world cry even if he has never did it

  • *frodo thinking to himself* now it's my opportunity to run away while he's drowning xD

  • i love that scene so much. we and my friend were watching this in her basment and we boths started cry at this.

  • This is where you fall in love with Sam. The Heart of a Lion. Such a beautiful character. The final line of "Return of the King", after Sam has lived his life and goes off to find Frodo, is the only time reading a book actually made me cry.

  • frodo u idiot paddle back towards him b4 he sinks lol!!!!!

  • United we stand.

    1.00

  • Lol, Frodo always says "Oh sam" that sounds quite gay :D

  • are they brothers?

  • @takadox3495 No, just the bestest of friends :D

  • Amazing scene

  • Such a touching scene! Sam may only be a little hobbit, but he has a heart bigger than any oliphant in all Middle Earth.

  • I LOVE Lord of the Rings. =) SO much.

  • the shire tune starting at 1;31 wud melt anyone's heart who hear em..which soundtrack is this tune in?

  • @adyboy76 it's called 'the breaking of the fellowship'

  • "oh samm...."

  • I LOVE SEAN ASTIN AND I LOVE SAMWISE!!!

  • please call him by his full name..Samwise 'the Brave' Gamgee

    :-)

  • This scene is so touching. I felt like crying. I love this movie, but ive only seen half of it. I thing Sam AND Frodo are cute and very nice. I almost cried when i saw this. When i first saw it, i thought Sam would drown because Frodo was too late but he saved him!!!!

  • Did you know that when they first shot this scene,Sean Astin (sam) ran on the sand and stepped on a shard of glass that went right through his foot?He kept running to the water until they called cut and he turned around and was crying so the brought him on the beach and it was bleeding everywhere and Elijah was like(Oh man!Oh man!)and he had to get his foot sewn up and he was back filming that day.Thats dedication.Split your foot open, and keep running in the water just so you dont ruin the shot

  • When you think about it, if this scene did't happen, or say if Sam were just a minute or so later, then the entire fate of middle earth would not have any hope at all, and the lord of the rings would have ended in either the fog ridden rocks beyond the river, or in shelobs lair, and middle earth would be middle hell.

  • If you manage to have one friend in your life like Samwise Gamgee, consider yourself lucky.

  • lucky and blessed..

  • i love this scene, and this music! i cry EVERY time. -_-

  • "Im going to Mordor alone"

"Of course you are, and Im coming with you"

    <3

It truely are one of my favorite scenes, as many others here I see. I dont really know why, but I love everything they say here. Even "You cant swim!" .. No idea, its just .. yeah.

  • Great Movie and great Scene

this movie is better than the other 2

from the lord of the rings :D

    Samwise Gamgee :D:D

it was kinda sad when boromir passed away talking with aragorn , damn three arrows stabbed in his chest hahah

  • Wow

"Mikey" from the Goonies grew up to b a loyal friend.....

    How heartwarming........

  • i dont know why i didnt appreciate this in the theater as much as i appreciate it now. very touching scene.

  • One of my favorite scene of the entire trilogy... Sam's so intense and touching here, it's amazing! I loved it so so much!

  • this scene gets so powerful right around :59.. thats when frodo's hand grabs sam and you hear the orchestra strings come into the music when he pulls him out! so epic!!

  • @sekytwo

I like how Sam's grip tightens and *cue the dramatic music*. Superb.

  • I even have to cry just by saying these words aloud. I can't describe how much they touch me.

I love Sam for being such a true friend to Frodo.

''We need more Samwise Gamgees'', indeed.

  • The best scene in all of the 3 moviesz :p

  • what part of the film is this in

  • in the end of the first movie The Fellowship of the Ring

  • i love tis scene it made me cry i also love frodo

  • love this scene!

  • first lesson on swimming...try, joking, this is a great scene, it shows sams loyalty to frodo, as so does the motivational speech in the second film, sam is one of my favorites.

  • I didn't cry when I first saw this... but now I can't help but cry everytime I see this. We need more Samwise Gamgees in the world.

  • Makes me cry everytime.

  • I love it! Finally found the scene.

  • one of my absolute FAVORITE scenes. I am in love with Sam's dedication to Frodo.

  • shit, i'm crying (good god EVERY time)

  • me too! me too!

  • OMG, I cried a lot in this scene, it's so touching!! Friendship never dies.

  • ta bueno

  • What I woudn't give to have a true friend like that . Samwise Gamgee really puts to shame all those people that I call 'friends'. I don't think I have friend like that at all except for my own dear mother.

  • cherish the samwise gamgees in your life. they are few and far between.

  • Powerful scene

  • This scene Did make me cry*Sniffle*cry* love it though =)

  • This scene defines the meaning of true friendship... "I made a promise, Mr Frodo... don't you leave him, Samwise Gamgee... and I don't mean to... I don't mean to..." *sniffle*

  • I think this clip defines true friendship. I need a Kleenex! *sniffle*

  • i love this scene it shows how loyal sam keeps to his word and thats what sam is about in this film

  • aw....

when i first saw that scene in the movie,

    it almost made me cry..

  • jajajajaj es bonito pero falta un dunedain por hay

  • that's beautiful... I want to cry, I love that scene.

  • Isn't it just? It makes me feel happy for Frodo because he has such a loyal friend like Samwise Gamgee... "I made a promise, Mr Frodo... a promise... 'Don't you leave him, Samwise Gamgee'... and I don't mean to... I don't mean to..."
