Gary Payton: 22,000 points, 5,000 rebounds, 9,000 assists and probably the best defensive guard in the last 30 years. Questionable wether D Wade will pass that. Mega-athletic sure, but greatness comes by respecting the game, making your teammates better, and sustaining numbers with the elite nightly throughout your career - not a single game half-ass.

Heres a thought. D wade is third in the league in steals, and is the only player this season to average over 2 steals (2.3) and over 1.5 blocks (1.54), and hes still a good one on one defender. Heres a thought. D wade is third in the league in steals, and is the only player this season to average over 2 steals (2.3) and over 1.5 blocks (1.54), and hes still a good one on one defender. Maybe the best defender in the league? not to mention, leading the league in points, and coming 9th in assists with 7.1, which is higher than lebron or kobe. hmmm.
