  • Why is the top comment for this video say he's gay?? How?

I'm gay for watching it for sure but a young fella doing exercises isn't gay! People are stupid, and I'd rather be gay than stupid any day!

  • smal to be 17

  • holy shit, your back looks so much bigger in the other video.... nice progress!

  • nice work dude,

  • Pull ups are much better for you!!!!

  • no he does it alrigh

  • why not doing pullups instead of this???

  • fail

  • Ur doing it wrong lol

  • your wasting your time on the lat pulldown.

  • keep your back straight(don't lean back like that), perfect form is more important over the number of reps you do.

  • wow... who the hell taught you to keep your back straight? You are supposed to lean back a little bit. You should not be giving form advice

  • if you lean back thats bad form, look up, pull it down to your chest !!!

  • @lespaul457 Umm, looking up and pulling it down to your chest REQUIRES leaning back a little bit.

  • spieluhr- rammstein, fine :)

  • Sitting straight up really doesnt work much. Mainly biceps actually and this isnt a bicep workout. Lean back to use lats snd upper back

  • eeeeeeeeeeew, that is nasty!

  • wow!

But i think this isnt very healthy for a 17 yrs old

  • @Tim9666

I disagree. Could you give me at least one plausible reason for your statement?

  • Yeah lifting 80 kilos (or more) 4 times a week isnt the best thing for such young bones but its defenetly not wrong.

I just said its not healthy.

  • @Tim9666

Yes lifting is not good but pushing and pulling your own body weight is perfectly safe and healthy.

  • You are completely wrong...very uneducated statement you make, and you don't back it up with a reason.

  • Not too sure why you say that. I'm 18 years old, I lift, and I eat a lot as well. I'm not trying to be braggy, but I have a beautiful body. Working out at ages 17+ is a great head start for that beautiful new look. As long as the person is doing the exercises correctly, weight he/she can handle, and eating healthy, then its not a problem. :)

  • lo hace perfecto, buena espalda ,

  • How much does those plates Weight? I WondeR

  • excellent physique for a 17 year old :).

  • do pull up are safer...

  • Not true at all..both are great exercises. If anything, you can hurt yourself during a pull up, as you cant adjust the weight. Its all your bodyweight or nothing..and that can cause injuries if you arent properly warmed up

  • @jlebesis

I find pulling exercises to be a lot less prone to causing injuries. And if you can't pull up your bodyweight than you just can't. If someone would be an idiot and try some of the stuff that expertvillage is posting about stepping up and then lowering yourself slowly, now that's an injury waiting to happen.

  • I agree retardno002. Although for a more experienced lifter...stepping up and lowering slowly is a way to work the negative of the exercise...which is proven to put a lot of stress on the muscle and build it more quickly. But of course, it's not as simple as just doing that without considering the rest of the workout. With all respect to them...I steer clear of most of ExpertVillage videos! lol

  • so??...

  • i know i was like wtf too'

  • Impressive back!

  • is the position correct ? whats the difference when you sit straight up

  • if you sit up it concentrates it on your lats, if you lean back it works on your back too.

  • So why not concentrate on lats with this, then back with a row?

  • Yes that position is correct. When you lean back, it works your back more.

  • nice keep training don't care about stupid people in youtube

  • damn, nice lats.

  • careful son you might snap

    LOOOOOOOOOOL

  • training in jeans?

  • rammstain spielhur

  • if the guy feels good working out in jeans let him

if he's gay let the him be gay

the only thing he has to do is use less weight because his left arm issnt keeping up with the right one

  • yeah, looks terrible how the left shoulder is so much higher :(

  • training in jeans? you lame?

  • i know a few people who train in jeans

  • go a lot heavier next time and dislocate your shoulders i can laugh and you can fuck off in your toddler jeans

  • how many kg?

  • PLS consider a posing vid in that jeans :P

  • real gay bro.... real gay....

  • and if he is gay, wtf problem u got with it? have the ballocks to tell that in his face, i am sure he will kill u

  • shut up u gey mofo haha

  • haha someone is sensitive

and dont saying anything like that about cancer

  • dude, i think people that are racist should die, of cancer or what ever. the world will be better without them

  • @Enj01 im confused as to what is gay about this?

  • @Enj01 why do you say that? his back and shoulders are really great in shape. Fuck off youtube you little cunt. Stick to benching 30kg

  • @Enj01 u are gay that is good work

  • Its good, but obviously you need to work on your traps, cause they aren't there at all. It seems like you have trained the front of your shoulders alot, but you should remember the back of them, Military and dumbbell press isn't enough

  • diesel shoulders haha but i bet you dont squat much at all

  • sounds like a good song in the background, whats the name?

  • BEAUTYFULL GAY BODIES!! =)

  • wow esa epalda es bastante grande jajajajajaja

  • you look great plz update soon

  • you look great plz update soon

  • nice back!

  • I would recommend doing pulldowns "with various grips" but after pullups. Pick one grip each time you work your back and rotate them like that. I have done 55 marine corp pullups at a body weight of 175 and currently do sets of 12 at 285lbs but I still do pulldowns and DB rows because they all help you bench and deadlift more and help your back hold more weight in the squat. They also give you bigger biceps and a great grip. Keep lifting.

  • That explanation is too vague for me, can you actually set example of different grips? You mean different width apart from shoulders, because i just use my chin up bar.

  • he means alternating between different grip widths when doing either pullups or lat pull downs because it stimulates the growth of your lats more efficiently.

when i first started i couldn't eveb do 1 pullup with good form, five months later i could do 8-9 with good form and can do 10 reps @ 150lbs on the machine.

  • I see a rotator cuff injury in your future

  • could you explain why?

  • why? he's not pulling behind his head

  • a this is a different exercise

b there has been some contreversy that it can damage the traps from pulling down too much

  • hey plzz can u tell me whats the name of this machine?

  • lat mach or lat pull down

  • thnx buddy!

  • lats

  • and yea nice nick =)

  • mike =(

  • Rammstein! ^^

  • Don´t you workout lower back?

  • Man, I can't wait to graduate so I can join a freaking gym and get huge.

  • Because with pulldowns you place your biceps in their weakest positition and train your back with a very short range of motion. With chin-ups, palms up you place your biceps in their strongest positisjon, which enables you to lift more weight and you train your back with a much longer range of motions. Everyone should only do chin-ups

  • nice but wheres your shirt? xD

  • It`s no point in doing wide-grip pulldowns. But nice =)

  • why do u say that theres no point in doing them?

  • Because with pulldowns you place your biceps in their weakest positition and train your back with a very short range of motion. With chin-ups, palms up you place your biceps in their strongest positisjon, which enables you to lift more weight and you train your back with a much longer range of motions. Everyone should only do chin-ups

  • but this exercise is specifically for ur lats, it also hits ur posterior deltoids, romboids, yes biceps too, but its not the main focus. wide grip chin-ups also get these muscles, u cant really say EVERYONE should ONLY do chin-ups. lol :) x

  • No matter how you do pull-movements, the biceps will get the most training. Biceps is the weakest link when doing pull-movements, and if you place them in a weak position, like the pull-downs, you cant train your back with maximal effort ether. Besides, pull-downs its like 1/3 of the movement of chin-ups - so why do it?

  • why not LOL *yawn*

  • the main reason you would do wide grip is to target the middle back... something you cant do with normal grip pullups/chinnups/pulldowns.

it comes from the whole theory of wide grips work inner, and narrow grips work outer

  • very well said, could not have said it better myself :) xxx

  • dorian yates favours close grips pulling movements and he has one of the biggest lats ever,if you want both width and thickness do barbell rows, lose the fucking pulldowns

  • Can you please tell me which is width and which is thickness thickness?

  • Indeed. Chin-ups and pull-ups combinations would work it much better. The first one, mostly.

I agree with you man. Been working out with pull-downs for some months now, and to be honest, you don't really get any 'usable' strength out of it. All you're good for is: doing pull-downs. I'm changing to chin-ups and have been developing all the lower and upper back together. Much harder... but waaaaaaay better!

  • nice lats
