It's VERY suprising how fast that chicane actually comes up. The line you were destined to take is often used by the 4-wheel brigade, prevented by bollards placed on the apex.
Couldn't agree more - however, once the back wheel is skipping in the air you can't apply more brake pressure (which is hard not to do when you're 'flapping') as it would make the situation worse. As you can tell, I then started to bang it down the gears, which still locked the rear!!!
The only answer is to learn how to ride better - something I plan on addressing soon.
lol, just fitted ebc HH sinterred pads & hel lines to my sv - really makes a difference. Mind you, I think if you over do it on the throttle, no matter how good your brakes are, it really does come down to how much you panic as to whether you bin it or win it :)
you can not hear back wheel skipping but chain clicking when wheel locks and skids on tarmac
