  • nice nice nice!!!!!

  • Com pass by my yard in South London!!!!! Respect. Grew up with these tunes. Smoke a little, play dominoes and drink rum, make love to a fit woman. and put a good tune on open the windows and let everyone know!!!!!

  • Saw them live in '75 in Gloucester...only white guy in the room and some excellent Congolese, so no shortage of new friends : )

    Delroy Washington was with them as well...must have been about 15 people on stage and the dubs they dropped live were just awesome.

  • Many African children, I wonder do they know where you're coming from The whole of the nation Living in these tenements, Crying and applying to their council For assistance every day Now that their tribulation so sad Now that their environment so bad High rise concrete No back yard for their children to play African children
  • Saw them play here in Bristol on Sunday. Once they'd got the bland reggae ballads out of the way early on in the set it was top Dub and old skool - remembered why I was initially blown away hearing them at 9 years old on John Peel.

    Must Watch video!

  • Yes Dread, I agree with you. The Mighty Aswad, with tunes like warrior charge, african children.. Mighty sound, heavy bassline, Aswad Horn Section ...

    I dont understand this change of repertoire , that they made during end 80's..

    Hope they wake up 1 day and release some old skool roots.

    enjoy

    D:=)ZÉ

  • This is one of the toughest reggae songs ever given to us. Poor Aswad, what happened to your roots sound!? I mourn you.

  • @kingston1201 I totally agree, the Live and direct version is so much better. It has the soul. Aswad made the mistake of going commercial which was sad cos they were awesome. (Just my opinion.) Bob Marley went commercial but he didnt have to negotiate.....the whole world loved him already.

  • @jackthehatuk commercialization was the problem, totally agree with yr comment.

  • good dub music

  • Great song. Aswad one of the best
