  • which stops did you use for this piece?

  • @railfanatic844 I used the Gedackt 8 and flute 2 for the solo voice with tremulant. And I used the strings with the Vox Humana if I remember it right.

  • @jpwsml hm, very beautiful piece

  • The flutes and reeds are bright and colorful. I enjoyed the sound of this organ. Don't change a thing.

  • Thanks for the encouragment.

  • All your cuts demonstrate an unusual ken for showing color of the instruments you are playing. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks, I appreciate the feedback!

  • It was an 8'Gedekt(spelling) and a 2-2/3 Nazard with tremulant for the solo stop. The organ actually has a few ranks of flue pipes and an Enchmade, then a lot of digital. Probably a good 10-12 ranks of pipes.

  • Very nice indeed! I liked the solo stop on the great--was it an orchestral flute? The organ sounds great--if you don't have pipes, Rodgers is the next best thing.

  • Thanks, there were a lot more organists around 50 years ago and I think they were probably a lot better trained than I. I hope that organists can make a come back.

  • Nice job!!! The tone sounded as mysterious as "the Orient" (the East) was to us in "the Occident" (the West) some 50 years ago when I was a kid.
