it's a small creature but yet very hard to kill, it can even survive an atomic bomb explosion...

So maybe Lauri is trying to say: hey, I might be one of billions of people and I may not be the strongest one, but I can overcome anything. It might hurt though, but every time I'm down I will get back on my feet.
