A little update. I was able to steal my friend's psp. I dunno how long he'll let me keep it but I made the most of it yesterday. I have a new high of 213, LL! will probably only consider it 212 since my last delete was a throw at the end of the game. But either way its a new record for me =)

I just tried to concentrate on the next block

(only the next block not the next 3 blocks... this is still to hard)using that "peripheral vison thing" and i got 131 right now.. For the first time I'm really proud of it ;D

can anyone tell me how to look at the next 3 blocks and still place the blocks without any mistake and with such an incredible speed? ^^

Another problem is the use of my fingers... when I tap the buttons im to slow.. when i hold them it's to fast. It's ridiculus

seeing the next blocks is more of a peripheral vision thing that comes with experience. youll get used to it. as for fingers, i use a method that combines tapping and holding. its hard to explain but i use the middle of my thumb and not the tip to push the d-pad. so i "tap" most of the time but can easily switch to hold when i need to "throw" a piece or try to beat the timeline. new videos will come soon, promise!

theres a lot ways to do it. i just use a digi cam to record the video and then move the file from the camera to my computer using a usb cable

please, even if u cant beat ur record, give ur fans wat their looking for, more videos, post ur other 200+ videos, by the way, my record is now 177... i also noticed that i am very slow, i can only drop about 89 blocks in 1 min. while in ur 206 vid u drop 107 and weirdguy has a record of 159 and can drop 99 blocks... im soooo slow =]

spent a week in canada and had some downtime so i got to play a bit and i have to say im not making the progress i had hoped for. had 3 or 4 200+ games but still didnt put together a perfect run. i still havent seen mrhexic's 214 game i think that record will stand until mrhexic himself breaks it. lumines is tiring me out =P

i've been getting really high scores and i have improved a lot. i had 136 with 20 sec. left but i messed up and only got 170, my record is 174.

Increible. Que puta pasada... Incredible. Fucking awesome... I'm a player from Spain adicted to Lumines, and all I got with more than 150 hours of total gameplay (L1 + l2) is 135 in 60 secs. There is a lot to learn to archive this kind of hability, possibly imposible for the common mortal like me. :( Hey, elchico, did you played the Live! version? If yes, did you notice more easiness to control the dash, or something like that?

i do indeed have my highs on cyberscore under the alias kewlguy. anyway, molotov: at 80's i doubt u have learned all of the basic capabilities and patterns for each piece yet. so keep experimenting and speed will come with time. nemo, i too used to be where you are. it just takes a serious amount of playing time. as for lumines live, i played a little and i have so much trouble with the lack of responsiveness on the d-pad (i dont use the stick).

i think the most i got was 170's but i havent tried that game in almost 6 months... as for updates, i had an incredibly sick start in one game, getting 112 in the first 30 seconds but that was for nothing since i screwed up shortly thereafter

ive been playing maybe an hour or 2 each day. im consistently in the 190's with a 200 game here and there but still not where i want to be in terms of speed. but at the same time i still havent played a "perfect" game in any of those 200 runs...

i finally got a new psp, on day 2 i broke my record with 163, on day 4 i broke it again with 165, but im not fast enough, i feel that i cant get any faster, do i just need keep on playing? When you were getting 160's 170's did your speed slowly increase? did you ever feel that u were almost at your peek? please giv me sum advice?

million points in L1 was 45 min. in L2 i think something like 7 or 8 min. and level... i have no idea, never tried to get a high level, challenge mode is too boring.

the d-pad on my psp is broken from lumines so i can only play on my roomie's psp. i dont always save when i play on his but whilst showering, i estimated that ive played around 400 hrs. lastly, ill try to record those puzzles next week if i can borrow my friend's digi cam.
